Weekly Update - 11/19


RESPONSE:  Cynthia Norris asked for prayers today to help combat the battle with evil and for her to turn it over to God. 

OUR SYMPATHY is extended to Charles and Barbara Richards in the passing of their 4 month old great-grandson Daniel Barts,  who was found dead greatest morning. Please be with Daniel's family. 

PRAYER REQUESTS:
  • Dianna Welch was admitted to PRMC/Room 561 on Friday for antibiotics in her leg.
  • Johnny Nabors was taken to PRMC Saturday morning with chest pains. He was released this afternoon, with orders to see Dr. Hashmi for more testing.  He continues recovering from shoulder surgery. 
  • Mike Grigsby has been in the hospital this week, in Dallas, with food poisoning. 
  • Dee Lyons continues to need our prayers.  She is home now.
  • Annette Thomas is recovering from surgery.
  • Dinah Border continues to recover from heart attack.
  • Charles Richards is at home doing Rehab.

  • Marg Norlin is recovering from foot surgery.
  • Ora Henderson - Health.  Also, her daughter Ann has cancer and is in the hospital.

  • Allison (Boyd) Hanley had gallbladder surgery. 
  • Marcus and Sharon Roden's great-grandson, Ezra Cole Fitts, was born too early and needs our prayers.
  • Danny Ball, friend of Anita Roden, has been diagnosed with cancer.
  • Lesa Bulls asked for prayers for Rebecca Eads. She has been diagnosed with an aggressive growing type of breast cancer. She's already started chemo. Rebecca is the wife of Josh Eads and mother to a 5 month old baby son. She's the daughter in law of JoNel Eads Holmes. 
  •  W. H. Bequette, father of Jill Faires - Cancer
  • Warren Skeen, Brenda Shackleford's Dad, is in Rehab also. 
  • Please keep Billy Kee in your prayers.  He is battling cancer again. He is the great-grandfather of Alexis and Maggie Daniels.
  • Jazzmayne Radtke, Dinah Border's granddaughter - High risk pregnancy. Prayers for a safe delivery and healthy baby. 
  • Matt Welch, youngest brother of Kristi Anthony, needs a liver transplant.
  • Allyson Fasken (teacher at PISD) Cancer.
  • Sierra Faulkner - 3 year old with cancer. (Friend of Molly's) 
  • Jerry Savage's cancer has returned and is aggressive. He is a preacher in Sulphur Springs.
  • Tammy Huffman Beazley - (former member) Cancer
  • Debbie Daniel (friend of Molly's) - Cancer
SHUT-INS AND NURSING HOMES:  Butch Mills, Johnny Bassett, Harley Staley, Carol Murphy, Johnny Houser, Roy Jones, Paul and Carol Helton, Sarah Smith, Donna Mosley, Peggy Wright, Smithy and Kay Allen.

THANKSGIVING PRAISE AND WORSHIP:  We will have a time of praise and worship on Tuesday, Nov 21, reminding us of all that we have to be thankful for.  Please plan to bring your family and out of town guests, as we fellowship together.  This is in place of Wednesday night classes!  Everyone will come together in the auditorium at 6:30pm.  No Simple Supper will be served.

ANNUAL FOOD BASKET DRIVE: 
It's that time of year again to nominate people you know that might need a food basket for the holidays.  The food lists and nomination forms for those receiving baskets and the volunteer forms for those of us who can help by purchasing and/or delivering the baskets are located at the Welcome Center. Deadline for nomination forms is Wednesday, Dec 6th.  We will deliver baskets on Sunday, Dec. 10th at 2:30pm.  The baskets for Benevolence Ministry will be distributed on Monday, Dec. 11.  Grab your kids/grandkids and get involved in something good for the community!!  Thank you TERESA ALLEN for heading this up!!!

SIMPLE SUPPER:  NO MEAL THIS WEEK!
