Prayer Request Update - 4/11 - 7:36pm

I'm really excited about the new series of lessons that Patrick will be bringing us over the next few weeks..."The 7 "I AM" Sayings of Jesus".  Todays' sermon "I Am The Bread of Life" was so good.  The Bread of Life is a person, has power and has promise.  Awesome!
  • Continue to remember Landon Garrett.  There's still no feeling in his right hand or foot.  They will be moving him to the base for 30 days of rehab, then reassessment.  He still has a long way to go, and that means we still have a lot of prayers to say!
  • Emmitt Williams (John's 2 yr old nephew) has prayers of Thanksgiving today.  He has returned from Cincinatti, OH, where he was undergoing cancer treatment, and they have moved into a new home.  All is going well.
  • Shelle Fowler asked that we pray for Tate Lewis.  Tate is 7 and will have another heart related surgery in a couple of weeks.  This will be the 5th time to have surgery that breaks his sternum.  Tate is the son of Cheri & Dewayne Lewis.
  • Vera Wilson asked for prayers for her son, Chaz.  He's in the Navy going through Basic Training.  Also, for her daughter & son-in-law, Michelle & Jason Anderson.  They were recently baptized and pray for their faith to strengthen.
  • Gary & Dinah Borders' cousin, Joe Slagle, continues to be in Doctors Hospital/Dallas recovering from the amputation of his leg.
  • Continue to remember Tammy Huffman's family.   Her Mom, Linda, is recovering from foot surgery.  Her step-dad, Sam, has cancer, she has 2 aunts that are in seperate hospitals in Denton, and her husband Robert in the loss of his job.
  • Diane McFadden asked that we continue to remember her & Mark Welch's Mom, Lillian Welch.  She will be having a doctor's appointment in Tyler this week.
  • Charlotte Grooms' friend, Cynthia Yates, is having health issues.
  • Mark Whitehouse's Mom, Ruby Whitehouse, is suffering from the shingles and is in a lot of pain.  Also, she is still mourning the loss of her youngest sister just recently.  (This is also Gay Spencer and Gwen Ann Shelton's aunt.)
  • Please add Charles Lovell to the prayer blog and list. He is Phyllis Giguere's father. He is in the Altoona, Pa. hospital with fluid on one lung, problems with his blood sugar being stable and at first they though he had had a stroke. They are going to put a catheter in his lung tomorrow to try to drain it and give him lasix too. Phyllis's sister told her that he might not be here but another couple of weeks unless things change.
  • Sarah Smith asked that we pray for her friend, Harrell Tippit.  He had open heart surgery this past week and is still in PRMC/North - ICU.
Senior Sunday will be May 16. This years' 2010 Seniors are:
Stephanie Janes - Jason McGee - Kasandra Miller
Adam Skidmore - Zachary Wickes - Zach Zant
