Update on Sherry Welch - 11/25

Tanya Welch sent this message about Sherry Welch:  I talked to her tonight and she is still in the hospital in Tyler.  She did have a mini stroke sometime on Sunday. They have run many tests including on her heart and everything is clear. She says she passes all their "touch your nose" kind of tests from several different hospital doctors with flying colors.  However, she still has some numbness on her right side. She was able to walk today a short distance with a walker. She is now waiting on a room to come available at a rehab place there in Tyler.  She will be getting some therapy for the next several days and we will see how things go. Tonight when I talked to her, she was in good spirits.  Things are looking good but could still use lots of prayers on her behalf.

It still amazes me to think of all the destruction that happened during the ice storm last year.  But, what is even more amazing is the CLEAN UP that happened afterwards!  Thank you to all those who volunteered to get the church grounds and the land across the street free from all the downed trees and limbs.  A HUGE thank you to JB Tree Service also, here in Paris, who have used their talents to get rid of big trees and limbs.  If you ever are in need of a tree service, they are GREAT!  You can call Ricky or Tricia White at 903-517-0010.
