Ed and Cheryl Bullard's daugter, Kristi Moody asked for prayers for her little grandson Rylan and Stetson.
"My grandson Rylan is a sick little boy and needs your prayers, and if you read this from my daughter you will see that they have spent several days at the doctors and ER's. Rylan can't catch anything that is going around or he will end up in the hospital right know. They have more than enough on their plate, with a sick boy, and some other family members that are sick and in the hospital.
Friday night he was complaining of his left arm hurting and would barley move it, he had a pretty good bump under his armpit. Well our first thought was a broken collar bone but it wasn't. We were told to give Tylenol and Motrin and follow up with Dr.
Monday night we ended up right back in the ER. He had fever, pain right below his rib and a "rash" not like a regular raised bump rash but it looked more like it's under the skin and the bump under his arm pit had gotten bigger. His eyes were blood shot red and his face and eyes was swollen. I was told I needed referrals to 2 specialist (whom I'll keep to myself because frankly it scared the living crap out of me) and we needed to get into the Dr Tuesday.
Tuesday we get to the dr office for the appt and she said we need to go to children's so Rylan and I made the trip to Plano to Children's. We were there for hours. They ran a lot of test. The dr came back and said he has Lymphangitis. And to follow up with dr in 5 days and put him on an antibiotic.
Wednesday 4 towns later we finally find a pharmacy who has enough of the antibiotic to get him through 2 days.
Thursday (today) we wake up and his eyes are puffy and pink again. No big deal he had just woken up. Within 2 to 2 and half hours of him being awake his eyes and puffiness have not changed and "rash" has spread and a little bit darker. I call dr office and within 1.5 hours we are in her office. More blood work running test to check for Rocky Mountain Fever, Lymes Disease and one other that started with a B. We should have those results in Tomorrow.
Also a blood culture was done at children's on Tuesday and I'm praying we have those results in by Tomorrow also.
And today while in dr office I get a call from the school that Stetson had busted his knee open. So yet another trip to ER and 3 stitches later..
We are ready for a bubble!!"
