  • Lucy Staley - Fell in the shower last week.  No broken bones.
  • Webber Woodall - His heart cath last Friday showed NO blockages.
  • Peggy Wright - Continues to be in rehab.
  • Sarah Deen Goree - has been moved to Heritage Rehab # 303. 
  • Charles Richards - Is back at home now.
  • Gail Clark has some serious health issues.
  • Jean King - Back issues
  • Loretta Nabors - Back issues
  • Mike Grigsby - Health
  • William and Lucy Offutt - Health
  • John Figgins - Health

  • Former member, Bailey Gillie, had surgery last week to place a shunt and it went well.
  • Local businessman Steve Glover, has a brain tumor. He's going back to Medical City/Dallas tomorrow for chem.
  • Jazzmayne Radtke, Dinah Border's granddaughter - High risk pregnancy. Prayers for a safe delivery and healthy baby.
  • Tripp Thoms (friend of the Cooper's) was bit by a spider last week and has been in Children's/Dallas.
  • Brenda Simmons (friend of Leslie Keele) - Health
  • Wanda Huggins has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
  • Shonda Stephens (Kathy Grigsby's daughter) will have surgery on Tuesday at PRMC.
  • Joe DeNoon - Health (Tanya Welch's step-dad).
  • Sandy Welch (Kristi Anthony's Mom) - Health
  • Dr. Robert Zimmerman (friend of Derald Bulls) - Cancer.
  • Matt Welch, youngest brother of Kristi Anthony, has been told that he needs a liver transplant.
  • Allyson Fasken (teacher at PISD) Cancer.
  • Janet Fouse - (former member) Cancer.
  • Joyce Fouse - Cancer 
  • Jim Bo Thompson - (friend of Glen Barnett) recovering from surgery.
  • Sierra Faulkner - 3 year old with cancer. (Friend of Molly's)
  • Jerry Savage cancer has returned and is aggressive. He is a preacher in Sulphur Springs.
  • Tammy Huffman Beazley - (former member) Cancer
  • Debbie Daniel (friend of Molly's) - Cancer
SHUT-INS AND NURSING HOMES:  
Butch Mills, Johnny Bassett, Carol Murphy, Johnny Houser, Roy Jones, Paul and Carol Helton, Sarah Smith, Sarah Dene Goree, Donna Mosley, Peggy Wright.


WEDNESDAY NIGHT WORSHIP:  This Wednesday night (8/9) at 6:30pm, we will have Randy Johns here to speak in the auditorium.

SOCKS ON SENIORS (SOS): This is a leadership service project that Chris Hutson is doing for Members of Churches of Christ For Scouting.  He is collecting new slipper socks to distribute to individuals in local nursing homes. There is a box, back toward the ladies restroom, where you can drop them off.  This will be an ongoing project.

PRAYERS FOR STUDENTS:  If you would like to be assigned a student's name to pray for, or your student has graduated and you want a new one, then please see Tanya Welch for an information card or to update your data on file.  (This is for North Lamar, Paris and Chisum High Schools.)

WEDNESDAY SIMPLE SUPPER:  These will be resuming in September.  If you would like to help on a team on Wednesday out of each month, please see Kyle Jones.  Our teams are awesome and are fun to be a part of. If you have time and the heart to serve with a smile, prepare part of a meal, or wash dishes then YOU CAN DO THIS!!! 

RAINBOW ROOM ITEMS: Lice kits and boys clothing

PANTRY NEEDS:  1 pound bags of beans or rice, pasta sauces and canned fruit.

SIMPLE SUPPER:  
The S. S. crew is taking a summer break.
