Weekly Update - 4/14

Thank you Randy and Jared for the message this morning, continuing the series of Think Orange!
They read the text from Deuteronomy 6:4-7:
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Within this text are three "calls" that we are to teach our children:
1.  Call to listen
2.  Call to love
3.  Call to impress

They also discussed the 3000/40 principle, that is discussed in the book "Think Orange". It is based on the observation that a typical child spends 3,000 hours per year with their parents and only 40 hours per year in church-related activities.
