Prayers for the Hollje family - 3/9

The Hollje Family
Gavin, Jennifer, Charlie, and Bryce
Front Row:  Kyran

Charlie Hollje

A friend posted this update last night: I’m reaching out tonight asking for prayers for this sweet family. I want to update everyone on Charlie’s condition with his permission. This weekend Charlie was in a terrible ATV wreck where he sustained unforeseen injuries. He was rushed to Quality ER where he was then transferred to Medical City of Plano to meet with the Trauma Team, plastic surgeon and the spine team. He has a skull fracture, C-7 and T-1 fractures, ear and forehead laceration and very badly bruised knee and hand. We are so grateful God spared his life as he has a beautiful and talented wife and 3 children in school. Charlie is a hard working God fearing man and I want to reach out to you all tonight to ask for prayers for healing. Jennifer and Charlie will be traveling back and forth to Plano in the weeks to come for extensive follow ups and additional procedures. To add to their stress they also had water damage to their house during the ice storm where it flooded the entire kitchen and they were without water for weeks. This family has been hit hard this month and could use ANYTHING you have to offer. Please if you can not give money give prayer and share this post!! We have started an account for Jennifer and Charlie to help with expenses and pictures are posted to show the extent of his injuries. If you can help with expenses, please click on this link: Charlie Hollje GoFundMe

Prayer Request - 3/9

Former member, Delbert Offutt, will be going into surgery this morning, for another heart procedure. This procedure should last between 2-3 hours. Please keep him and Amber in your prayers.

(Galatians 3:1-29)

2. Remember the _________ of ___________________ (3:6-18)
3. Remember the _____________ of the _______ (3:19-25)
4. Remember ____________ Consequences of Your ___________ (3:26-29)
Four Implications of This Text to Consider:
1. Being “in Christ,” is the essence of gospel ___________________ and _______________.
2. Like Paul, our _________________ must ________.
3. Don’t trade God’s _______________ for _________.
4. Galatians 3 emphasizes that Christianity is a _________________ built on ____________________.

Update on Pam Holmes Schmidt 3/2

Pam has been moved out of ICU to step down unit just across the nurses station. I stayed  2 hours with her this morning. She’s very weak like can’t hold a fork or pencil. Limited communication. Can’t talk well due to ventilator which is now gone. But can mouth but that’s even hard. Kidneys are not reacting as well as they should so will be  put on a longer use dialysis machine tomorrow. Infection seems to be getting better but really did number on her body. Tried to get it today but could not get worked in.

She can have cards and flowers now. Still just one visitor a day.
