• Keely Kennedy asked for prayers for Ashleigh for a new direction regarding her schooling.
• Tanya Welch for Hazel Cross (Sherry Welch's Mom) for her health.
• Tanya also asked that we remember the college students and their upcoming final tests they are having these next 2 weeks.
• Dinah Border for Rayne Newby (13 year old) in Parkland Burn Unit.  Burned over 90% of his body the day before Thanksgiving.

CHRISTMAS BASKET INFORMATION:  If you know of a family in need of a Christmas basket, please fill out a form from the Welcome Center.  Deadline for nominations is Wednesday, December 14.  You may place them in the Christmas box in the foyer or return them to Matt or Allison Hanley. 
Each nomination form has a form number.  If you would like to specifically fill the basket(s) that you nominated, please sign up on the volunteer sheet and specify your form number.
Baskets will be delivered on Wednesday, December 21.

Prayer Requests - 12/5 - 2:39pm

Sherry Welch's Mom, Hazel Cross, is some better today.  (Her Mom has pneumonia and Sherry is in Winnsboro with her.)  She woke up this morning and was ready to get dressed and eat breakfast.  She's been on the couch most of the day, sleeping, but continues the hard coughing. 

Lesa Bulls sent this message:  "Dr. Jim Semple has been in the hospital since last Wednesday night. His white blood cell count is still too low although they've been giving him blood. The radiation has scorched his throat and vocal cords...vocal chords paralyzed now and he is unable to swallow due to the swelling and pain. A feeding tube was inserted Friday; however, blood began to fill it, some dark and old and some fresh. They are hoping that it is only from the ulceration of the cancerous tumor which could indicate a little shrinkage. Today he begins radiation again and begins prepping for vocal chord surgery on Thursday. They are going to attempt to let him go home tomorrow and just travel back for the treatments, chemo, and surgery prep as he really wants to be home. The 6 kids are trying to take turns staying with him day and night to help him up and down, administer nourishment through the feeding tube, and get him to the radiation and chemo treatments and IVs at Baylor. He mostly refuses pain meds and he wants to remain clear headed and is hoping to be able to return to the pulpit on December 19 and December 25 to fulfill commitments. He lives to preach and minister and nothing will ever change that."

The Ornament Exchange will be at the church building, in Room 6 at 6:30pm tomorrow (Monday) night.  (Sherry's mom has pneumonia and is not doing well. Sherry is going to probably be in Winnsboro for the next few days.)  Bring an ornament and a finger food and come prepared to have a lot of fun!

Prayer Request - 12/3 - 1pm

This morning, Landon Garrett and the team he leads, were deployed to Afghanistan.  Kristi posted this message a few minutes ago:  "Stayed up til 3 am to talk to Landon as long as we could, before his phone was shut off... I know that so many of you have prayed for his recovery and look how awesome that turned out, so I am asking... no begging for all of your prayers again... He is headed to Afghanistan... please pray for him and the team that he is leading into war.  I am already forever grateful for every prayer on his behalf and I am saying thank you right now for your current and continued prayers... This is not a training mission... this is for real and he is still my little boy. I love you guys and thanks again for all of your thoughts and prayers."
