Prayer Requests - 12/10 - 10:25am

Loretta Nabors sent this request:  "Please put Larry Baker (my sister-in-law Marcie's, brother) on our prayer list.  He is 46 years old and he is mentally challenged.  He had surgery at PRMC/South, on Friday, to remove a tumor the size of a baseball in his rectum.  It is cancer.  The Dr. had to take out his rectum to be able to get it out. He is not doing well today, they are keeping him sedated.
My sister-in-law is the only girl and their parents have died with cancer. 
Marcie also has another brother, Charlie, that is in the hospital in Tennessee with blood clots in his lungs.  They are giving him meds to dissolve.  He is doing better today."

Prayer Request - 12/10 - 12:09am

Petra Cooke asks that we keep Travis in our prayers.  He deployed out on Friday for Afghanistan.  "He left today and is on his way...To surround the Taliban and convince them to surrender.  We just have to pray him home again.  Just like the previous 4 times."

Prayer Requests - 12/8 - 2pm

• Jennifer Hutchings has been readmitted to Forest Park Medical Center in Dallas with a blood infection.
• Sherry Welch's Mom, Hazel Cross, has been placed on hospice care.  Hazel is very weak and sleeping lots. 
• Lesa Bulls asked that we continue to remember their friends Jim Davis, he's still having issues with healing on his foot; and Bobbye Roberts, who is recovering from a stroke.

Matt Denman's Mom, Alice, continues to be in PRMC/S.  She's having a really tough time just breathing today and she's developed some sort of strep infection.

Richard Logan's brother, Alan Logan, passed away yesterday.  His service will be at the Idabel Church of Christ at 2pm on Saturday.  Family is requesting donations to the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Service in lieu of flowers.

Matt Denman's Mom, Alice Denman, has been admitted to PRMC/South.  She has COPD, emphysema and now has pneumonia.  Please keep Alice in your prayers.

My friend, Donna Archer, posted this message tonight:  "Well, tomorrow is the big day! I go back to Baylor and do my pre-transplant testing. Please pray that I pass all my tests and that my body is ready for the stem cell transplant. It will take several days to get all the results back, so I will have to try and be patient. I know that God has a plan and I am trying to follow after Him and His plan. I am truly blessed to have found this so early in my life and to have the opportunity to have a transplant."
