Prayer Request - 12/2
Jean O'Neal fell off a ladder yesterday in her garage, as she was getting a Christmas tree out of her attic. She broke her elbow and it is in a cast now. The doctor will do surgery next week. It's too swollen to do anything just yet. She is at home now and home health nurses are taking care of her.
Our Sympathy.....
Anna Zant's aunt, Linda Glenn, from Daingerfield, passed away this morning. She was Mrs. Mashburn's last sibling. Anna is having series of MRI's done in Sherman. Please pray for Anna, her family, and Connie who is driving her.
Update on Doris McGill - 12/2
Karen Cato sent this update on her Mom, Doris McGill: "Mom has been moved to Stillhouse for skilled nursing and rehab. She is in room 69 and loves to have visitors. (We so appreciate everyone in the life group with Russell and Robyn for stopping by and singing to her on Sunday.) She is still in pain from her fall and continues to have some confusion, but is slowly progressing. She is ready to have her hair done...this is a good sign! Please continue to pray for her!"
Our Sympathy....
Local minister, Paul Dearinger, passed away this morning. Cremation arrangements are pending with Wood Funeral Homes, Deport.

Update on Kristi and Austin Anthony - 12/1
We found out some information on Wednesday but due to the Thanksgiving holiday I didn't want to relay this information until afterwards but WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR PRAYERS for our family.
On Wednesday Austin had an appointment with Kristi's EP Cardiologist and they think that a potential genetic defect may have been found that has been found on Kristi's EKG and now Austin's as well. Next they... will look at Matt's, Tyler's, and Cody's to see if it is present there also. Potentially Sandy and Mike too will be evaluated.
The EP described this genetic condition as "new science" that has just been discovered within the last year and is still relatively unknown. The condition is a "repolarization" issue of the heart rhythm and is called "J-Point abnormality". I understand very little about it so far and can't even begin to explain it. They are under the impression that the fix is to implant an AICD (pacer-defibrillator). Hopefully we will be able to find out more very quickly.
The evaluation process could be rather lengthy since this is so new. I will pray that we find out about Cody and Tyler quickly since they too are at risk. Matt already has an AICD therefore he is protected but Sandy and Mike and possibly Mike's two children are at risk . Since Kristi lost her job due to her condition and we will only have COBRA until the end of next November it is critical that everyone gets treatment (if needed) before then! I'm praying that the defect will not show up on anyone else!
Please pray for this very concerning situation for our boys and Kristi's mom, brother, nephew, and niece. WE NEED YOUR PRAYERS FOR OUR FAMILY and THANK YOU for faithfully continuing to bring us before the Father. - Jay

Update on Emmie Hayes - 12/1
Daniel Hayes posted this earlier about his sister, Emmie: "The doctors told us that they were going to administer three tests to confirm that my sister is brain dead. The neurologist began the first test to and Emmie began to breath and lifted her hand from her side to her face. They cancelled the other two tests. The doctors are trying to prepare us for the worst, but I know God is present and is responsible for these victories. Pray for healing, that her brain stops swelling and she continues to show improvement."
