Doris' daughter called and they have just found out that Doris
has pancreatic cancer. She is still at Plano Medical City but they are
making decisions to move her somewhere with Hospice care. She once again
expressed her appreciation for all the prayers and kindness shown to her dear
mother.

Prayer Request 11/3
My friend Lisa Lee asked that we pray for her friend and 2 children, who live in Clarksville. Her husband was shot and killed on Monday night. She asked that we pray for strength, peace, comfort and provision for this mother and children. Also pray for guidance for those working the case, that they will catch the person responsible soon and that they will be brought to justice and repentance.
Prayer Request - 11/3
An update on Arvie Stevens: "Arvie works at Fry Gibbs Funeral Home and has been waiting for a heart for a long time. Thyroid testing was done and ok. He is under 200 lbs and there were three hearts that came in, but one was not useable . The other two testing is not complete. Please continuing praying!"
Prayer Request - 11/3
My friend, Joy Garner, sent this prayer request: "I have a prayer request for you and all your prayer warriors. His name is Anthony Townsend, he is 4 yrs. old. He was admitted to the hospital on Oct. 21 with pneumothorax. He went into a coma within 24 hours. Today, although he is awake, MRI's have indicated brain damage. This is a little boy I knew when we lived in Missouri. All prayers for him and his family are needed. I would appreciate all the prayers for them."

Weekly Update - 11/2
Thank you Patrick for the lesson Sunday morning "On the Road with Jesus", with the text taken from Mark, chapters 8-10. Jesus gives them 2 "test" questions.
1. Mark 8:27: Who do people say I am?
2. Mark 8:29: Who do you say I am?
YOU need to know who Jesus is to you! JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD!
Jesus wanted to open their eyes to make them see....that's what chapter 8-10 is about.
~~Where are the blind spots?
~~Where do we need help?
~~Have you asked HIM to open the eyes of your heart?
We may have tough questions and fears....Jesus says I'VE GOT THIS!
Praise God that HE's still molding us to be the people we NEED to be!God wants us to follow HIM on the road of faith and obedience.
