Prayer Requests - 2/27

• Ruth McFadden had a procedure on her defibrillator in Dallas today.
• Daisy Redding had a new pacemaker put in on Tuesday.  She is back home now.
• Dot Campbell is now at home and doing much better.  She will be having back surgery on March 5th, here in Paris.  She also asked for prayers for her nephew, Johnny Briscoe.  He was admitted to the hospital with a busted blood vessel in his head.
• Derald Bulls asked that we add James Casey to our prayers…he is the father of Melinda Kinslow who works for Stephen Gerrald.  He had bypass yesterday and is in ICU at PRMC.

RESPONSE:  Debra Usry asked for prayers for her granddaughter Carle Usry as she goes to Dallas tomorrow for more tests on her heart.  Also, for her daughter, Jillian Ingram, she is in jail awaiting trial.

 

PRAYER REQUESTS:

• Daisy Redding will be having surgery soon.
• Anna Zant's brother, Joe Don Mashburn, has taken a turn for the worse.  He's now in critical condition.  Please pray for their family.
• My co-worker, Courtney Exum's Mom, Toni Modl, has been taken to the ER the last 2 nights.  They have found a mass on her liver that is 4 cm by 6 cm.  She has an appointment to have an MRI on Monday morning.  Please pray that this mass is NOT cancerous.
• Debra Usry asked for prayers for her friend, Mark McCloud.  He has cancer in his lungs, kidney and liver.  He just had his first chemo. 
• Kathy Marshall's daughter is in need of prayer for her diabetes.  She has neglected it too long.
• Jason Ray asked for prayers for his friend Lynn Brockway who has cancer.
• Lesa Bulls' friend, Marla George, has breast cancer.  She will be having 13 weeks of chemo followed by surgery.
• Tanya Welch's dad, Ben Wallace, will be having surgery for an aneurysm in 2 weeks.
• Prayers for Randy Skidmore who is in Baylor/Plano with heart issues. 
• Our sympathy to Jean Thurman and her family in the loss of her husband Mack.
• Ora Henderson's grandbaby is very ill.
• Continue to remember the missionaries in Haiti.

SIMPLE SUPPER:  This weeks entrée is Chicken Enchilada Soup.  Please donate at least $2 per person.  If you did not sign up this morning to join us, please call the church office to have them add you to the list....by noon on Tuesday.

PANTRY NEEDS:  1 pound bags of rice

YARN DRIVE:  Kiddie Kollege is collecting yarn that will be donated to make "blessings" blankets for wounded soldiers.  There will be a collection box by Room 6.

Prayer Requests - 2/20

• Mary Tallant hopes to go home from PRMC today.
• Mary Lloyd is nearing the end of her life.  Please call the family before you go visit.  Richard Peace has the phone numbers.
• Jessica Harris' uncle is undergoing bypass surgery in Texarkana this morning.
• Brad Sullivan's grandfather, Euen Sullivan, is having a heart procedure this morning in Tennessee.  He had a heart attack earlier this week.

Prayer Request - 2/19

Loretta Nabors' aunt, Rennie Copeland, is in ICU at a Texarkana hospital.  She has been very ill and loosing blood.  Today, they found a small spot that was bleeding and put something on it to stop the bleeding, didn't really find anything that would explain all the blood loss.  Hoping to move her out of ICU soon.

Can you help?

There will be a work day, this Saturday (2/22), to clean up our lot across the street from the building.  If you can help with this effort, please be there at 8:00am and bring your chainsaw if you have one.  We expect to be finished in 2-3 hours.  For more information, contact Jimmy Thielman.

Jessica Harris sent this message:  "I need prayers for my uncle Wayne Parker. He is going to have to have triple bypass. He's extremely special and important to me. Please pray for his safety and mine and my grandparents safe travels to Texarkana for the surgery. Thank you!"
