Congratulations to Kelsey and Bethany Holland, and big brother Brantley, on the birth of Miss Kynlee Jo Holland.

She was born right after noon today weighing in at 7 pounds and 6 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Proud grandparents are Gene and Nelda Skinner and great grandmother Ruth McFadden!

Services for Mrs. Rodgers

James Ray Rodgers Mom's visitation will be tonight from 6-7pm at Starrett Funeral Home.
Her services will be Tuesday, Dec. 30th, at 11:00 am, also at Starrett.

Mildred Rodgers, James Ray Rodgers mother, passed away this afternoon. Services are pending with Starrett Funeral Home.

My heart is heavy this morning...my sweet Mommy, Louise McMillan, passed away yesterday afternoon.  She was 93.  Her visitation is Friday night in Cooper at the Delta Funeral from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 pm at the funeral home.

Also Daisy Redding's step-dad,  Norwood DeJohn,  also passed away yesterday afternoon in Missouri. Services are pending.

Robyn Figgins and Cari Johnson's nephew, Ryan Smith''s visitation is from 12-2 p at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and the funeral will be at 2pm.

Derald Bulls sent this message.....James Rodgers' mother, Mildred Rodgers, is on hospice and has been for some time. She is in her final hours and James asked for prayers for his Mom, and all his family….they are really struggling with this being Christmas. But I assured him, God’s will be done. She struggled to breathe yesterday but rallied somewhat but hasn’t had any water or food in 48 hours.
