Weekly Update - 4/4 - 6:50PM

Please keep the following in your prayers:

• As of this writing, Wayne McFadden, is in grave condition.  Please keep his family on your hearts.
• Lindsay Welch is continuing her recovery from surgery at home.
• Remember our newest little ones that have been born the last couple of weeks....and their parents also.  Joseph Edward Singleton and Reed Douglas Owens.
• Lesa Bulls', Betty Brockington, as she is making great progress with her cancer treatments.
• John Williams, as he is job searching.
• Janet Christ's student, Clayton Massey, is being tested for cancer.
• Continue to remember my brother-in-law, Roy Gregory, as he recuperates from quad bypass.  And my sister, Mary Gregory, as she will be undergoing more tests with Dr. Hashmi.
• Our sympathy goes to Connie Ausmus and her family.  Her cousin, Lee McDonald, passed away last week.

W.I.N.G.S.:  There will be "Tea" on Thursday night, April 28th from 6:30pm - 8:30pm, in the OutReach Bldg.  The purpose of this night is to familiarize our ladies with the opportunities available to be in God's service at LACOC and reach out to others.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SIMPLE SUPPER: This weeks' entree is Fried Chicken! If you were not able to sign up today, you may call the church office, by NOON on Tuesday, to sign up to eat with us. Still only $2.


PANTRY NEEDS: Cornbread Mix & Green Beans

Tornado Season is here!  On April 16 at 7pm, there will be a class offered at LACOC by the Texas Civil Defense 4th Division.  This class will teach you how to get ready for a tornado; what to do, what to have ready, what kind of precautions you need to take, where is the best place to take shelter in your home, etc.  (They will also have translation from English to Spanish.)  Please feel free to invite others to come with you!
