Weekly Update - 8/28 - 10:34am

  • William Campbell (Stacie Wood's Dad) was released from the hospital on Saturday.  The Dr. ended up doing 2 stents.
  • Phyllis Giguere doing well after her back surgery @ Baylor/Plano.  Will be going to rehab later on this week.
  • Ed Bullard is at home.  Visits and phone calls are appreciated and welcomed! Pray for him and Cheryl.
  • Dianna Welch has an appointment today with a gyno-oncologist in Dallas. Please pray that the mass is not cancer. She is also starting week 4 of the 2-a -day trips to the hospital for IV & oxygen therapy.
  • Mike Grigsby is at home in Paris, recovering from another stroke last week.
  • Betty Brockinton (Lesa Bulls' cousin) is continuing to have complications from her brain tumor.
  • Lewis and Carole Anderson's son, Heath, left yesterday for a mission trip to Nepal for 13 days. Most of that time, he will be without communication.
  • Webber Woodall's uncle, Harold Grant from Cooper, has been diagnosed with liver cancer. They are starting a round of tests to find what course of treatment to take. He is back at home now with hospice.
  • Our sympathy goes to Judy Kay Amb and Jay Mack Harvey's families, as they mourn their deaths.  They were killed in a motorcycle vs. 18 wheeled truck on Saturday morning.
  • Paul & Vickie Vinson and children iare still trying to transition their move to Midland.
  • Hazel Cross (Sherry Welch's Mom) is homebound and needs prayers for strength and encouragement.
  • Robert Wilson had a stroke this past week.  Please pray for complete healing.
  • Dean Cummings (friend of Heath Fowler) is having health issues.  Please pray that his health be restored.
SIMPLE SUPPER: This wonderful ministry will reconvene on Wednesday, September 7th at 5:30pm in the OutReach Bldg. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!!!

PANTRY NEEDS:  Bath soap, Deodrant & Toothpaste
The Benevolence Ministry has been really busy lately. These are the items routinely stocked in the pantry, and can always be used: Any type of canned meat, canned vegetables, canned fruit, spaghetti & sauce peanut butter/jelly, macaroni/cheese, hot/cold cereal, cornbread mix, 1 lb pkgs of beans/rice and crackers. Please pray that there is relief from this intense heat and drought. Check on your friends and neighbors. Drink plenty of water!! STAY COOL!!

REMEMBER THOSE IN AFRICA...please pray that they receive food!
