Weekly Update - 7/29 - 2:21pm

Thank you Patrick for the message this morning from John 20:19-23.

The Youth Group leaves this afternoon for their mission trip to downtown Dallas to minister to the homeless. They will be back on Friday. Pray for their safety and success.

Pam Cattabiani went forward this morning stating "I have joy in my heart for the blessings in my life and in my church family".

Joy Barnett also went forward stating that she is excited for the Youth Group and their mission trip and that "we need to OWN this mission called Paris."

Jaretta Lindsey asked for prayers for herself. "I'm starting college at Texas A&M/Commerce in the fall, for my bachelor's degree.  I have to find a dependable car to commute in.  Also my home life is stressful.  Also, I just started a new job.  I need strength.  I'm trying to become more faithful to our Lord.  I just really need prayer."

  •  Lillian Taylor remains in ETMC/Clarksville.

  •  Carl Melton was taken to PRMC this morning.  No other details are known at this time.

  •  Allen Jumper remains in PRMC/South.

  • Anna Zant's Mom, Christine Mashburn, is in PRMC/South. Doctors think she is having TIA's. Please pray for Anna as her health is an issue also.

  •  Our sympathy is extended to Sandra Taylor's sister, Winnie Bishop, and her family as they mourn the loss of Winnie's husband this week.

  •  Dot Campbell's son, John, is very ill.  Friends are coming this afternoon to get Dot and take her to Mississippi to visit with him.

  • Anita Roden asked that we pray for Becky Edwards-Skinner.  She had previously had cancer in her lungs and now she has cancer in her bones.  (Her dad owned Famous Shoe Store back in the "old days".)

  •  Renee Crews asked for prayers for her and for her 2 daughters, Laci and Joni.  They were released from their jobs this week and need prayers for new jobs.

  • Please pray for my niece, Heather Gregory and her family. Her dad, Wesley Winstead, he is in Baylor/Dallas.  He's had many health problems recently. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

  • Glen Barnett asked that his co-worker Richard Terrell be added to the prayer list. He has a tumor on a kidney and is going for surgery. The Doctors say there's a 90% chance of being cancer.

  • Hugh Anthony is still doing well.

  • Faith Williams is having some complications regarding the stem cell transplant last week and remains in Baylor/Dallas-ICU.  Faith's sister-in-law posted this today:  "Faith slept better last night, her blood counts are continuing to take baby steps in the right direction, her lungs sound better and the culture was negative of infection in her lungs!"

  • John Buchanan asked for prayers for his co-worker, Kay Hayes and her son and his family.

  • Tony Nolan is in very serious condition. He has had a triple by-pass. (Son of Gary and Marilyn Nolan.)
