Weekly Update 12/16

Responses:  Jason Ray went forward this morning with a request for prayers for his marriage and that he makes better choices. 
  • How great was it to see Hugh Anthony back in church today????
  • Continue to remember the Jumper family in the passing of Allen this week.
  • Kristi Anthony continues in Zale Lipshy for rehab. She's doing better each day!  Please remember that Austin, Tyler, and Cody's testing is in process.  Pray specifically that they do NOT have Long QT Syndrome."
  • Anita Roden is at home recovering after surgery.
  • Roxanne Raper is at home recovering from surgery.
  • Connelle Peace is having pain in her legs.
  • Tyler Michael (Slawson's son-in-law) has cancer.
  • Sara Deen Goree is still in PRMC on the 3rd floor.
  • Derald Bulls will be having surgery on his knee this Thursday (12/20).
  • Dianna Welch is recovering at home from knee surgery.
  • Payden Daniels (Kimberly's son) now has the flu.
  • Jaymie (Spencer) Phillips, as she recovers from a heart attack.
  • Jeanie Lamb has lung cancer and started radiation this week.
  • JoAnn Wood's brother, Scott Jackson, will be having open heart surgery on Monday, December 17th. He will have four by-passes.  
  • My son's grandfather, R.D. Sprinkle, is going to be released from Baylor Hospital/Garland tomorrow to go home with hospice.
  • My friend, Jerry Jarrell's Mom Geraldine Jarrell, has been diagnosed with cancer of the kidneys.
SIMPLE SUPPER:  This weeks' entree is Ham and Potatoe Salad! If you didn't sign up this morning to eat and would like to join us, call the church office by Tuesday noon.

Ladies Ornament Exchange: Tomorrow night!!!!!!  Monday - December 17th at 6:30pm. Bring a wrapped $7-10 ornament to swap and your favorite finger food to share.
 
The Christmas Baskets will be delivered THIS Thursday!  Michael and Lindsay McCarter are still needing 45 baskets filled!  Can you help them out by filling a basket or donating money for the baskets?
There will be 90 families that will be receiving a basket!
