Please keep the Archer family in your prayers. My precious friend, Donna, won the final battle against Multiple Myeloma tonight. She fought a hard fight during transplants, treatments and all the while hoping that, in the end, she would be helping someone else in the future.
Pray for her husband Sammy, their children Brad and Aimee and their families.

Prayer Request - 1 / 21
Lucy Offutt asked for prayers for William. The Dr. informed him today that the leads going into his heart for his pacemaker/defibrillator are not working. He is waiting for the Dr. to call back with info to get him to Dallas for surgery. This is a life threatening situation --if his heart was to go into arrhythmia, there is nothing to get it back in rhythm with the leads not working. Lucy has taken off work so that he is not home alone.
Reminder...
Pat Houser’s funeral will be tomorrow (Thursday) at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Hugo, OK. Committal service will follow at the Bill Darrough Pavilion at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery of Hugo, OK.

Weekly Update - 1/18
Thank you Patrick for the message, taken from Psalm 28. We have to realize that we can't make it without the Lord. We have to turn it ALL over to HIM. When we pray to God, we must BELIEVE that God will answer.
The singing was especially beautiful today! Thank you Stephen Gerrald for reminding us about the story behind the song "It Is Well With My Soul". I reread it this afternoon and listened to it on youtube...it STILL gives me chill bumps to think of the immense sadness that he was experiencing. But...he had the wisdom to know he would see his children again!
RESPONSE: Michael McCarter asked for prayers that he be a better husband and father and that he rely more on the Lord.
WELCOME: Dr. Charles (Chuck) Elswick, from Hugo, will be worshiping with us now. He is a Nature Opathic doctor.

Please keep this young couple in your prayers. Not only for complete healing and eradication of these 2 separate cancers, but for their safety in travel away from family and friends.
