Weekly Update - 1/29


SYMPATHY:
  • Virginia Cammack, grandmother of Jill Faires, passed away this week.  Her services were held Saturday in Arkansas.
  • Lee Campbell, step-dad of Amber Beyleran, passed away this week.  He was the son of the late Dot Campbell.  No service was held.
  • Nicki Beeler's dad passed away. His service will be Wednesday in Cleburne.

MEMBERS: 
  • Louise Peace - Has been in the hospital with pneumonia this week.
  • Roxanne Raper - Has been in the hospital this week. Will be having surgery at a later date.
  • Teresa Allen - Has been in the hospital this week with pneumonia.
  • Lila Buchanan - will be having knee surgery on Feb.14 at PRMC.
  • Jay Cannon - Health
  • Joel McGee - Health
  • Selena and Sophia Johnson - they are in California for 6 months.
  • Sarah Smith - Health.
  • Webber Woodall - Health
  • Sherrie Boyd - Health
  • Kristie Anthony - Physical and mental health
  • Lance Johnson - ALS
  • Troops - Keep them safe
  • Emergency Personnel - Keep them safe
  • Missionaries all over the world.
  • Kanyon Phillips (grandson of Jay and Gay Spencer) - is still in a hospital in Seattle, WA.  He has a bacterial brain infection. He is doing some better this week.
  • Norma Brooks, Gail Kennedy's mom, is seriously ill in an Amarillo hospital. 
  • Perry Sansing - Is in ICU in an Austin hospital, due to complications from diabetes. (Lewis and Carole Anderson's nephew).
  • Mary Larseingue, a friend of Jon Dean's, continues to be in PRMC.
  • Sierra Faulkner - 2 year old with inoperable brain tumor. (Friend of Molly's)
  • Tammy Huffman-Beazley (former member) has been diagnosed with cancer has started treatments.
  • Ross Floyd, step-son of Kathy Roden Floyd and son of Randy. At UTSWMC in ICU in serious condition.
  • Debbie Daniel (friend of Molly's) - Cancer
  • Kendall Hattenville from Roxton.  He has a hereditary kidney condition and continues to be in serious condition at UTSW/Dallas.

SHUT-INS AND NURSING HOMES: 
Butch Mills, Johnny Bassett, Carol Murphy, Roy Jones, Paul and Carol Helton, Carl Melton, Joel Casey and Louise Peace.
YOUNG AT HEART:  We will have a potluck meal together on Saturday, Feb 25th, here at LACOC at 5:30pm.  Bring your favorite dish to share, favorite game and invite a friend.  After the meal we will fellowship together and play games of your choice.  Get ready for an evening of FUN!

DIVORCE
CARE SUPPORT:  A new class will begin on Monday, Jan 23, at 7pm at LACOC, in Room 17 near the OutReach Kitchen.  The group will meet weekly through May 15th.  Facilitators for this are Daisy Redding and Keith Bollman.  Class is open to the community.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:
  • Paris Pregnancy Care Center has several opportunities: volunteer, be a prayer partner, donate baby & maternity items, donate funds, serve, be a church liaison. For more information, please see brochure at the Welcome Center.
  • Children's Advocacy Center is hosting a Sweetheart Soiree fundraiser on Sat. Feb. 11th. There are several ways that they could use our help leading up to and following that event. If you can volunteer, there is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center with more information.
  • CPS Support - As part of our ongoing efforts to partner with CPS to support foster families in our area, we are planning to host a Foster Parents Night Out on Fri. Feb 24th, at our building from 6:15pm until 9pm. If you can help babysit for this event, please sign up at the Welcome Center.  You will need to complete a Background Check Authorization form.
RAINBOW ROOM ITEMS: Jeans for school aged kids and Lice kit treatments

SIMPLE SUPPER:
 Potato Soup

PANTRY NEEDS: 
Peanut Butter/Grape Jelly and Canned soup with meat.
