She was born Friday, at PRMC, and weighed in at 5.9 pounds.
She was sent to Medical City Children's for 1-3 weeks to take care of
Ecstatic big brother is Laramy.
Extremely proud grandparents are Derald and Lesa Bulls.
UPDATE: Mazie Kate is doing better this afternoon...she had a little set back last night. She had to be intubated and put on a ventilator and have a small chest tube placed because of a pneumothorax, but she has responded well to being on it last night and today and her little body hasn't had to work so hard and her lungs have been able to rest. They have been able to turn the vent down where she is still doing most of the work on her own now that they fixed the pneumothorax--they are just watching it very carefully. They hope to have her off the vent and back to cpap in the next couple of days but are just taking it a day at a time.
