    Update on Mack Ray 9/23

    Mack’s surgery has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 7:00AM. Unless they change their mind again. 😩

    Update on Peggy Wright 9/23

    It is believed that Peggy may have had another stroke. Roxanne and Judy are back and with her. Please pray for Peggy and the family!

    So proud of these young men!!! John Cannon arranged and encouraged these guys to help with the service at the church in Detroit. The members were so appreciative and want them back!!! That’s a good sign!! 😉

    Prayer Request - 9/23

    Peggy Wright was taken to PRMC earlier this morning with what seems to be a stroke. Roxanne and Judy are on their way home from Branson and may be here by now. Peggy is in ICU until further tests can be done.

    Mack Ray called the church office this morning and asked for prayers for his surgery that will take place at 4:30 today. They will be placing a stent in a main artery and "rebuilding some stuff" and he wants all the prayers he can get!

    SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
    • Randy will start a three-part sermon series, on October 13th, in preparation of LACOC choosing new Elders.

    • Former member Jordan Thielman's Mom, Judy Stephens, passed away last week.  Her service was held on Saturday.
    • Justin Strawn, Dad of Carolyn Gibson, a member at Pattonville, passed away on Friday.  His service was held this afternoon.
    RESPONSE
    • Anita Roden asked for prayers for her son, Ward Hall and his family. Also, her brother Clifford Franklin has been diagnosed with lymphoma. He's already started chemo treatments. It has NOT spread to his bones.

    "Dad is still at ER in Paris. There are no rooms at Baylor right now. As soon as one is available, they will be care flighting him there. That could be anytime during the night or in the morning. Keep praying please."

    • Betsy Mills' friend, Sue Skay Abruscato tripped over one of her dogs and broke her shoulder as well as further down her arm.  She also has a fracture in her opposing knee.  She went back to the hospital for respiratory issues, and Friday they moved her to ICU, as she has had complete kidney failure.
    • Teresa Allen's cousin, Sabrina Veuleman, gave birth to a baby girl named Calista and had some oxygen issues and has been in the NICU.  Sabrina had many complications and is in ICU. 
    • Traci Mahar is the wife of one of Derald Bulls' PJC coworkers - Health 
    • Derald Bulls' friend Dorothy White - Health
    • Debra Metzger will be having a series of brain surgeries.
    • Dustin Smith, Haley Bulls-Smith's husband, has at least two more weeks of IV anabiotic's. If we're lucky, he will then go on a year of oral antibiotics.

    Do you have a dryer?

    Cynthia Norris sent this message: "I am in need of a dryer for my mother in law and her husband, who is in a wheelchair. Right now she is in the nursing home and I was taking care of her clothes before my surgery. The dryer has gone out and we need one ASAP. They are willing to pay a reasonable price for it. or free. Thanks in advance!"

    Rickey McFadden sent these prayer requests: "If you will put me and Crystal on the prayer list. I'm having gallbladder surgery in the morning and she is having a hysterectomy Monday morning."

    Rickey's surgery will be here at Paris Regional and Crystal's will be in Plano.

My partial knee replacement has been without pain, so far. PT is coming to let me walk so that will be interesting. I am blessed by all of you, friends & family!

    • Debra Metzger will be having a series of brain surgeries.
    • Dustin Smith, Haley Bulls-Smith's husband, had a CT scan this week and will have a doctors appointment to follow to see how his infection/fungus/bacteria is improving. He has at least two more weeks of IV anabiotic's. If we're lucky, he will then go on a year of oral antibiotics.
