Randy continued the series "You Will Be My Witnesses" this morning.
He also told us about John Alan Turner, an author, who wrote about the top 5 church problems:
1. Anxiety
2. Lack of mission
3. Bad boundaries
4. Refusal to confront problems
5. Polarized parties (opposing factions)

Disagreement about John Mark:
1. Paul and Barnabas plan a second missionary journey.
2. Barnabas is willing to give John Mark another chance; Paul does not.
3. Unfortunately, no agreement is reached and Paul and Barnabas part company.
Lessons to Learn:
1. Disagreements are unavoidable.
2. Sometimes friends side against friends.
3. Fractured relations can disrupt God's mission.
4. Fractured relations can also lead to parallel ministries that expand the work of God.
5. Our goal in ministry should be to become co-workers.
6. The summons of the gospel is reconciliation.
7. Everyone needs a Barnabas, to encourage us. (His name means son of encouragement.)
WELCOME: Barbara Jones has moved back to Paris. She is Cotton Steelman's granddaughter.
RESPONSE: Molly Woodall (that's me) went forward this morning. Randy's sermon really touched my heart. I try so hard to be positive and encouraging, as we all do, sometimes it's tough and I let everything get in the way. Sometimes saying "I'm fine. Fine. Just fine." doesn't mean that we're ok.

- Carl Haggard got a good report from 3 of his cancer doctors Friday. His cancer is not spreading and his colon cancer will not be as difficult of surgery as his bladder cancer. The fact that his cancer has not spread is an answer to prayers. They will find out next week when they are going to schedule his colon cancer surgery. He has some discomfort but nothing really painful.
- Aaron Rodriquez is home, after graduating from Marine Boot Camp. He was with us at worship this morning.
- Dianna Welch - fell a couple of weeks ago and has broken her shoulder. Her recovery is
