Nelda Skinner has inflammatory colitis.  She was admitted to the hospital last night for observation.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
  • Lloyd Usry - Test came back that there are 7% bad cells in his bone marrow. Has to be 10% or more for it to be cancer to be treated. So Dr will see him in a month and repeat some lab work.

  • Jimmy Faulkner - He began radiation, along with continued chemo treatments.

  • My friend Kim Stribling asked for prayers for her aunt Betty Boaz. She has a blood clot in her heart and have given her meds to disolve it.
  • Susan George's friend  Rowen Hinkle (6 years old) was in the hospital for 3 weeks with an infection causing her epidermal layer of skin to peel off. Excruciatingly painfully.  She is home healing now. Her mom, Chelsey, is a Nurse Practitioner with Dr Deepak Muthappa.
  • Paul McClain - Is back at home, after being in the hospital last week.
  • Marcelino Rodriquez's mother, Amira, is recovering from quadruple by-pass surgery.
  • Josiah Daniel (my co-worker) - is at home recovering from a fall.
  • David Waggoner, who we've had on the prayer list for a few weeks, passed away on Wednesday. 
  • Larry Sprinkle (my son) - Health
  • Billy Icenhower - He is back in the hospital with blood pressure problems.  He is still in pain, has no appetite and is very weak from the long surgery. Doctors said this could last up to 3 weeks.
  • Linda Nichols (Kristi Garrett's mom) - Cancer.
  • Jessie West, friend of Anita Roden, has been placed on hospice. She's at Heritage Nursing Home.
  • Lonny Parson, local minister, had an aneurysm a few weeks ago. He is in Medical City/Plano in ICU.  As of today, he's been in Medical City/Plano for 112 days.
  • The Vanderpools - in Haiti

Prayer Request 5/21

My friend Kim Stribling asked for prayers for her aunt Betty Boaz. She has a blood clot in her heart and have given her meds to disolve it.
She had open heart surgery a couple years back and her heart is in Afib.

Update on Paul McClain 5/21

Paul McClain is coming home today and will continue physical therapy at home.

Prayer Request 5/20

Susan George asked that we add Rowen Hinkle (6 years old) and her mother to our prayer list.
Rowen was in hospital for 3 weeks with an infection causing her epidermal layer of skin to peel off. Excruciatingly painfully. Her mother Chelsey has been with her this whole time. She is home healing now. Chelsey is a Nurse Practitioner with Dr Deepak Muthappa.

Weekly Update - 5/19


Our 2019 Seniors were honored today with a breakfast with their families and the presentation of their bibles.  
The Seniors and their plans are:

❤ Cody Anthony will be attending Abilene Christian University.
❤ Justin Cannon will be attending Stephen F. Austin University.
❤ Chandler Jones will be attending Oklahoma Christian University.
❤ Kaitlyn McCarter will be joining the Army.
❤ Vershaud Richardson will be attending Arkansas State University.

❤ Hayden Russell will be attending Paris Junior College.


Cody Anthony, Hayden Russell, Chandler Jones, Kaitlyn McCarter, Justin Cannon and Vershaud Russell.

RESPONSE:  Lloyd Usry went forward this morning to ask for prayers for his health.  He'll have a bone marrow biopsy tomorrow morning at Medical City/McKinney.

OUR SYMPTHY:  Barbara Dean's sister, Joie Rowland, from Riverside, California, passed away this past week.  Please keep Barbara and the rest of the family in your prayers.

  • Ken Icenhower - Had 3 stents put in on Wednesday and came through the surgery fine.  He was feeling well enough to be at church this morning.
  • Kim Maxfield - after a very bad fall last Saturday, a CT scan showed she had a L1 compressed vertebrae fracture. She was dismissed from PRMC and has already been to her doctors in Dallas.  It has been recommended that she schedule to have surgery to repair in the near future.
  • Ora Henderson is at home recovering from pneumonia.
  • Jimmy Faulkner - He began radiation, along with continued chemo treatments.

Update on Ken Icenhower - 5/16

Ken had 3 stents put in yesterday and came through the surgery fine. He is feeling better and probably going home today with lots of life changes......according to Sheila! Thankful he's doing better!!!

Update on Kim Maxfield - 5/16

Kim had a bad fall and broke some vertebrae last week. She has been to her doctors in Dallas and it has been recommended that she schedule to have surgery to repair in the near future.

Update on Kim Maxfield - 5/13

Kim had a very bad fall and landed on her back last Saturday. A CT scan showed she had a L1 compressed vertebrae fracture. She was admitted to PRMC on Friday afternoon. If no other issues occur, she will be discharged today around noon with instructions to follow up with her back surgeon in Dallas.

Lloyd Usry will have a MRA of the Carotid next Tuesday in Frisco and a Bone Marrow Biopsy at Medical City McKinney on May 20th at 7:00am.

Prayer Request 5/11

Ken Icenhower is in the hospital with symptoms of a heart attack. He’s doing ok currently, but they are about to do some procedures to get more details.

Class of 2019

Congratulations to our Seniors this year. Totes will be set up in the foyer if you would like to bless them with a card or gift to help celebrate their accomplishments. Also, there is a table set up by the bulletin boards if you would like to write a note, scripture, special memory or words of wisdom to them. Take a card, write on it and put it through the slot in the top of the jar.

Randy and Jared continued the series "Think Orange" today, with the text taken from II Timothy 1:5...  "For I am mindful of the sincere faith within you, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am sure that it is in you as well."
They reminded us how important women are to a child's spiritual life and that we are to make it personal.

  • Marcelino Rodriquez's mother, Amira, had quadruple by-pass surgery Wednesday.  As of this afternoon she was still sedated and in recovery. Doctors said prognosis was good.  Marcelino thanks everyone for the prayers on her behalf!
  • Gary Callaway (friend of Wayne Kerby) is in Baylor/Plano.
  • Robert Wunsch (friend of Derald Bulls)  has a twisted intestine. Waiting for more tests to see if he will end up having to return to Wichita Kansas to his colon cancer surgeon. 
  • Grace McLeroy (John McGee's aunt) recovering from brain tumor surgery.
  • Josiah Daniel (my co-worker) - is at home recovering from a fall.
  • David Waggoner (lives in Reno) is continuing to be in Baylor/Dallas, with many complications from diabetes.

  • Ora Henderson has been released from the hospital and is at home. She does have a sitter.
  • Jimmy Faulkner had a complete body bone scan and NO MORE cancer was found!!  He will begin radiation next week along with continued chemo treatments.

Derald Bulls asked that we add his friend Robert Wunsch to the prayer list. He is currently in an emergency room in Oklahoma and has a twisted intestine. Waiting for more tests to see if he will end up having to return to Wichita Kansas to his colon cancer surgeon.
