Haley Bulls Smith posted this update on Dustin: Well friends, I’m here asking you to pray for my family once again—specifically for healing for Dustin. After a couple weeks of what we thought was a normal illness, he started coughing up quite a bit of blood on Tuesday and we were admitted to the hospital in Paris and then transferred to Baylor on Wednesday. Since then, he has been seen by a lot of different doctors and they are trying to get to the bottom of the cause of all of it and how to fix it. What we do know is that he has an abscess of some form in his mediastinal area (chest by heart and lungs)—they were able to biopsy this today so we will know more once pathology comes back. What we need to know is where it came from/how it got there/what has to be done to fix it for the long term. Please pray for the doctors and nurses that are working with him and for our precious kiddos as well as everyone who is pitching in to help take care of things at home. We covet your prayers and are so thankful for those who have already been praying. So thankful for the hope we have in Jesus and for the community we have through the Body of Christ.
