Weekly Update - 8/11

Randy is back from vacation and continued his series "Summer in the Psalms". Today he talked to us from Psalm 90 "A Prayer of Moses". This psalm talks of the brevity of life. It's a psalm of lament, and talks of life being hard and full of questions.

POINTS TO PONDER

RESPONSE: Doug and Jill Faires asked for prayers for peace and healing for their broken hearts. Their daughter Audrey and her husband Caleb Gillean were expecting a baby and had a miscarriage. This is the second baby they have in heaven. This precious couple would appreciate your prayers also.

OUR SYMPATHY:

Kathy Offutt Womack passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Friday. She is the niece of William and Lucy Offutt and the sister of former member Delbert Offutt. Arrangements are pending.
The family of Lonnie Parson, who passed away this past week.
The family of Kim Exum Hancock, who passed away this week.

Cooper Bell, 7-year-old son of Jerimy and Staci Bell of Roxton, was seriously injured in an ATV accident two weeks ago. He is in Medical City/Dallas. He's already had 5 surgeries and will need more. They aren't giving a date of discharge yet.
Dr. Robert Zimmerman has been diagnosed with bladder cancer.
Anita Kay Puckett has two brain aneurysms. She is in Medical City/Plano. Doctors are to observe her for 10 days before trying an operation.
