Tonights Simple Supper meal was out of this world good!
I don't know if y'all checked the Farmer's Almanac to find out that it was going to be freezing cold, or if it was a lucky guess!!

Update on Janie Russell - 1/6
I just received this message from Kevin Russell:
I would like to ask for prayers for Janie Russell and family as mother's health has been declining
We as a family are providing care for her at home with the help of hospice.
She for the most part does not complain about pain and discomfort but we would like to ask for prayers for peace and comfort during this time of her life

Prayer Request - 1/6
Former member, Tammy Huffman sent this message this morning: My sweet sweet Aunt Betty Elliott is working on her homegoing. She is on hospice and they are increasing her morphine today. She hasn't eaten in 3 days told my mom she's had enough so my mom took her off all tubes iv's meds etc very hard for my mother right now as well. My Aunt Betty has been like my second mom.

Prayer Request - 1/5
Please keep my niece Carol McMillan in your prayers. She was diagnosed with lung cancer last January and then adrenal gland cancer last month. She's taken treatments at the cancer center here in Paris and they feel it's time to seek further treatment.
She has been accepted for treatment at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Chicago. (The closest one in Tulsa doesn't accept their insurance.) She and my nephew Clint leave on January 25th to start this journey.
Please keep this young couple in your prayers. Not only for complete healing and eradication of these 2 separate cancers, but for their safety in travel away from family and friends.

- Molly Woodall's Mom, Louise McMillan, passed away on Christmas Eve.
- Daisy Redding's step-dad, Norwood DeJohn, also passed away on Christmas Eve.
- James Ray Rodgers' Mom, Mildred Rodgers, passed away on Dec 27th.
- Sarah Smith and Marjorie Clem's brother-in-law, Mike Dillingham, passed away on Jan. 1st.

- Kimberly Daniels is having issues with her thyroid. She will be undergoing extensive testing soon.

- Derald Bulls' friend, Linda Clinton, a former Texas A&M/Commerce professor will be having heart surgery on Wednesday.
- Lesa Bulls messaged me today saying that Darrell White, longtime NLISD Asst Supt/Principal, passed away yesterday in Plano. No details are available as of this time.
- Kathy Ballard asked that we pray for her friend, James Lipscomb. He is in the hospital.
