Prayer Request Update - 6/30 - 2:11pm

Margaret just sent this message:  "I just received a call from Edward Bullard. He hopes to see us tonight at church.  He had an MRI and a Sonogram. They indicate a 2mm aneurysm on his carotid artery, near a fork, with a network of other veins in the same area. Surgery would be too high a risk due to the location. They will treat with meds and he will see his doctor again on July 8th. Doctor wants to research his options for treatment going forward.  Ed asks for our prayers."

Prayer Request Update - 6/30 - 1:28pm

Betty House was moved back to Pine Tree Assisted Living with hospice.

Ed Bullard is still in PRMC/South for testing.

Ruth McFadden came through the ablation procedure of her heart just fine and is feeling well.

Sandra Leath is being moved to PRMC/North for Rehab.

Brad Smith (Robyn Figgins & Cari Johnson's brother) was taken to Dallas for placement of a defibulator... which they didn't insert.  His heart is working at 50% - but they have discovered the cause of his passing out and working on that.

Sheridie (Daniels) Dyess will have the day surgery for "demolition" of kidney stones on Friday morning.

Kimberly Daniels is at home with pain from kidney stones.

DON'T FORGET...TONIGHT AFTER SERVICES, WE WILL HAVE AN ICE CREAM SOCIAL.  BRING A FREEZER OF YOUR FAVORITE HOMEMADE BLEND OF ICE CREAM TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE!

Ruth McFadden will be having ablation surgery on her heart at Presbyterian/Dallas tomorrow.  Please pray specifically that everything goes good and that it will be successful!!  (This means they "kill" the nerve to the top part of her heart and she will be 100% dependent on her pacemaker.  As per Rickey.)  Hopefully, she will come home Wednesday.

Prayer Request Update - 6/29 - 3:22pm

Kyle Jones visited Sandra Leath yesterday. She is in PRMC/South - Room 527, but said they are supposed to move her to the rehab unit at North sometime this week. She is still not able to walk since the hip surgery but that's what they are going to work on at rehab. She seemed to be in pretty good spirits and loves to have visitors.

Prayer Request Update - 6/28 - 3pm

I talked with Brandon Allen's cousin, here at work today, and she stated that Brandon has been released from the hospital in South Carolina and that the specialist, that they called in, says that he does NOT have bacterial mengitis.  He believes that he had a migraine headache, which does run in their family.  Brandon also has diabetes, which has caused him some problems in the past also.

Prayer Request Updates - 6/28 - 2:55pm

  • Riede Faires is in PRMC/South - Room 313

Prayer Requests - 6/28 - 8:58am

Haley Bullard's little baby boy is still having problems with throwing up formula and his baby food.  He will be having day surgery on July 12th for endoscopy and a biopsy.  He had an upper GI this past Friday, and the swallowing looked good.

A friend of mine, Megan Wolf's little boy, Bryson, will have surgery on August 24th and again on August 31st.  The "soft spot" on his head is not closing as it should.  The Dr. thought it could be helped by wearing one of the helmets, but more in-depth work needs to be done.  Bryson is only 6 months old.

Valerie McClain sent this message today:  "Debra Daughtry, who, with her son Trevor, have been attending LACOC, fell while rollerskating at Parker Elementary's 5th grade end of year party at the Family Fun Center today. I was told she broke both wrists and will have to have surgery on one of them at 9 AM Sat. morning."   (Debra has also been helping in the kitchen on Wednesday nights.)

Lesa Bulls sent this message today:  "Joyce Coulter, an ex-teacher at NLISD, has had a brain aneursym and is not doing well at all. It is just a matter of time from what I can hear.  Keep the family in prayer."  (Mrs. Coulter's son Nicci has Down's and is a precious young man.)

Prayer Request Update - 6/3 - 1:22pm

PRAISE:  Ruth McFadden is being released from the hospital right now!  She was shocked 18 TIMES by the defibulator this morning - 5 times while the EMS was trying to get her in the ambulance!  Some of the levels in her body were out of sync, Rickey was getting her meds when I spoke to him, and they think this will take care of the problem.

Prayer Request - 6/3 - 8:38pm

Rickie McFadden just called and said that EMS was loading his Mom, Ruth McFadden, into the ambulance taking her to PRMC/North.  Her defibulator has gone off about 3 times this morning.
Please keep Ruth in your prayers, she's really had a rough time this year with the defibulator and her meds.

Dianna Welch fell last night, face first, on a rock.  She is in quite a lot of pain today.  Please keep her in your prayers.
