Weekly Update - 6/20 - 5:58pm

Thank you Patrick for this weeks lesson.  It was a blue-print for what a Dad should be!  Thank you Kyle for the beautiful song service.
It was great to see all the young people from Fayetteville, TN Washington Street Church of Christ.  They are on their way to Ft. Worth for mission work.  God bless you kids and we're praying for your safety while there and for your travel. 
  • Kathy Ballard's grandfather, Larry Bell passed away this past Friday.  His services will be tomorrow (Mon 6/21) at the United Pentecostal Church.  Please click on this link to read his obituary.
  • Jerry Pierce is still in PRMC/S - Room 605.
  • Sandra Leath had surgery this morning at PRMC/S on her femur bone.  Her daughter, Robbie Padgett, also stated that her Mom has some blood clots that are causing concern.
  • Gary Border's Mom, Johnnie Border, is in PRMC/ICU and is not doing well.
  • Jerry Smith (Robyn Figgins & Cari Johnson's Dad) has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer.  He will find out results of tests this week.
  • Allison (Erwin) Chamblee had surgery this past week on BOTH feet. She will be in the "boots" for approximately 8 weeks.
  • Anna Zant's Mom, Christine Zant, is recovering from another fall.
  • Lance Johnson is having more problems with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
  • Ruth McFadden said this morning that she is feeling really good.  She goes back to Dallas tomorrow for a check up.
  • Kolton Welch still has pneumonia.
  • Please continue to remember Debra Daughtrey in your prayers as she recovers from surgery on both wrists.
  • Wesley Parker (Jerry & Diane McFadden's neighbor) will have serious heart surgery in Dallas on 6/29.
  • Vera Wilson's niece, Amy, is recovering from a very serious accident.
  • Linda Erwin asked for prayers for her friend Steve Rhodes.  He had a massive heart attack.  His wife Monica and children Savannah & Stephen would also like prayers.
  • Randy Cooper (Rusty Cooper's Dad) had a minor stroke.  Please pray for a complete recovery.
  • Keely Kennedy asked for prayers for Logan Kennedy-Trapp.  Logan will have her 1st treatment for scoliosis tomorrow in Dallas.
  • Cliff Kerby asked for prayers for his friends, Shane & Janey Whisenant.  Janey's Dad passed away this week.
  • Misty Gage asks for prayers for her friends, Ty & Heather Merritt, as they deal with personal struggles.
Wednesday night class and Sunday evening
services will be held in the foyer all summer. 

UPDATE...The date for the Ladies Retreat at Jan-Kay Ranch has been changed. Please mark your calendars for July 23 - 24. Also, there will be a lower price per person: $55.00 instead of $65. Sign-up has been very slow so far, but we hope to have at least 25-35 ladies attending.

SIMPLE SUPPER: This weeks entree will be Hot Ham Cheese Sandwiches. If you didn't get the chance to sign up on Sunday morning, you still have the chance to come and eat with us by calling the church office by noon on Tuesday.
