Little Max and Mabrie Moffitt  (3 & 4 years old) were CareFlighted to Children's Medical/Dallas last night.  They got into some medicine not intended for them..  Both have both been extubated and are breathing on their own.
Mabrie is still needing oxygen and is feeling the withdrawal symptoms a lot more.  They are having trouble keeping her calm, but the doctors keeps assuring them, this is expected.
Max is doing very good!  He is still extremely groggy but is starting to eat and drink!  He couldn't wait to be wheeled into Mabrie's room!  He was ready to see his sister!
Scott & Christina Moffitt are the parents.  Grandparents are Don & Carla Moffitt and Lesa Tonne, former member at LACOC, is their grandmother.
Christina posted this message tonight:  "Every prayer has been heard.  Hug your babies tight and never ever take anything for granted."

Update on Carole Anderson - 3/20

Carole is out of surgery and in recovery.  Everything went well.

Update on 7 year-old Sabrina - 3/20

My friend reported this wonderful news....."In awe at the power of God and prayer! Monday morning, after a week of testing, including a cat scan and an MRI, both of which showed a large mass on her large intestine, my 7 year old great niece, Sabrina, was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Tentatively scheduled for aggressive chemo for 6 months, possibly more, pending a surgical biopsy today. GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS!! The surgeon did the biopsy through a scope but the lab couldn't find anything. So he opened her up. He moved everything around, he looked at the scans again, he moved everything around again...there was nothing there!! He took pictures! He told us that 3 days earlier it wrapped all the way around her large intestine, and he couldn't explain it, but it was just gone! We can explain it, and I want to thank ALL the fantastic prayer warriors bowing their heads and lifting their voices so this darling little girl didn't have to fight this battle."

Update on Kristi Anthony - 3/20

Jay posted this update this morning:  "We would like to ask for specific prayers for Kristi today. We will be meeting with Dr. Armstrong to discuss her neuropsychological evaluation from a few weeks ago. This is an important day!
I would also like to ask for continued prayers for improvement in her memory and walking. I watched Tyler and Cody patiently talk with their mom and attempt to get her to walk for over an hour on Tuesday night. The process was very difficult and emotionally exhausting for all three. I watched unnoticed and can say that I am so proud of them all. I witnessed so much love from our boys as they tried to work through Kristi's fears and difficulties. It was so good to see their love and commitment but also it was heartbreaking. Tyler and Cody need your prayers too. This is a very difficult season for two boys who have become great young men through these trails. I pray continually that they can also receive some joy while they grow and experience things that most adults have not even had to deal with. God is in Control."

Prayer Request - 3/19

Carole Anderson will be having surgery tomorrow on her back.  It is a "day surgery" so she should be back home tomorrow night.

Prayer Request - 3/19

A friend of mine sent this prayer request...  "My niece's sweet little 7 year old, Sabrina Willard, was diagnosed with Lymphoma on Monday. They're doing a biopsy today and because of where the spot is, it will be a 2 to 5 hour surgery. The biopsy will tell us if it's Hodgkins Lymphoma which they think it's not, which is good. And if not, she'll start an aggressive therapy of 5 to 6 months chemo. If it is, I guess we'll hear those options tomorrow. Her mom Jennifer has turned it over to God, but as you know, that doesn't take away the fear, and the pain of knowing what trials are coming up for her baby girl.  I'm a faithful believer in the power of prayer, and I don't think God can ever hear too many prayers!"
