Update on Faith - 8/30 - 4:56pm

Donnie Williams posted this report on his wife Faith earlier"I'm here with Faith today. I've never seen her this way. She can hardly communicate with anyone. Moans with every breath and no spark in her eyes. The doctors are working frantically trying to retrieve her from this pit. She told me in broken voice she wants to go home today.its very hard for me to see her this way, not knowing the cause or the cure. Donna has been a strong strong person the last 3 days staying with Faith. She is so positive. God richly bless my sister!
The kids want to see her, but they couldnt take the stress of seeing their mom like this. Please pray for the kids!"

    Prayer Request - 8/17 - 10pm

My friend Frankie Jarrell's dad, Frank Clayton, went into a hospital 2 weeks ago with breathing trouble. Dismissed him, saying had a bladder infection, which was raising his white blood cell count. A couple days later, he returned to the same hospital with difficulty breathing. Again, they misdiagnosed him with possible pneumonia, but due to excessively elevated white blood cells, they asked for a second opinion. Dr. Michael Lewis came over from Paris for a consult and said he was having congestive heart failure and would be transferred to PRMC for testing and possible surgery. After a week here, they noticed "spots" on an xray of his lungs, and other possible internal abnormalities during a CT scan. They did a test Wednesday that came back inconclusive. A second test today turned up "many" English pea sized cancers that have spread throughout his lungs and most likely into some other organs. He had colon cancer 5-6 years ago, and he knew at the time that they were unable to get all of it. They told him he probably was too weak to endure chemo and radiation therapy, so nothing was done. They told us at the time he might live another 5-6 years. Looks like those doctors were scarily accurate. Dr. Lewis said he only had "months" left and to go home and enjoy what time he has.
Please pray for the Clayton/Jarrell family.

    Prayer Request - 8/1 - 9:35pm

This was posted earlier tonight:  "The town of Honey Grove has suffered a great loss today with the tragic accident that sent Kenny Aldridge and his youngest son Micah to be with our Lord and Savior. Karon and Adam were flown to seperate hospitals in the Dallas area. Friends and family are en route to be support for each until they can be reunited. We pray that the Doctors will have the knowledge and ability to successfully heal any wounds they may have suffered. We also pray for the strength Karon and Adam will need to cope with their loss of family. We will need to shower them with love in the many painful months to come."
Kenny was the brother of Sabrina Day, a teacher at Justiss Elementary.
I do know that there were other people involved in the accident, but this is all the information, of fact, that I know at this time.

    Faith Williams Update - 8/1 - 9pm

Less than a week ago, Faith's heart, lungs and kidneys were trying to shut down.
TODAY is another story....this is what the doctors told her today!
'Your vital organs were trying to fail, you were in bad shape. There were two others that weren't as bad as you that didn't make it. Today, Faith, I'm here to tell you that we believe you've had a successful Stem Cell Transplant!!! Your numbers are improving daily - but more than just improving their getting better 5Xs faster! You should be in the hospital about 1 more week, outpatient for a couple weeks....then HOME!!!'
God is answering prayers!  Thank you to everyone for your prayers!
