Weekly Update - June 14 - 10:06pm

Thank you Patrick for the VERY moving lesson Sunday morning, from John 4:1-26… when Jesus and the Samaritan woman met at the well. Worship was GREAT! Over 160 at the first service and over 250 at the second! The singing was incredible! (Thank you Kyle &  Richard!)
Everything should be back to normal this week…. and the baptistery good as new! It’s always so good to have the CDR staff here and all those sweet voices!

  •   Kevin Shackleford’s Mom, Joan Fields’ funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in the Central Presbyterian Church with Dr. John Kelley officiating.
  • Most of Derald Bulls’ health tests were performed today. He does have the 2nd phase of the treadmill stress test and echocardiogram tomorrow at PRMC.
  • It was so good to see Ruth McFadden at church, after the week she’s had!
  • Kolton Welch has pneumonia. (He had no previous cold symptoms…just felt bad.)
  • Former member, Opal Steelman Patterson, passed away over the weekend. (She was Cotton Steelman’s daughter.)
  • Please continue to remember Debra Daughtrey in your prayers as she recovers from her surgery. (She fell at the Parker Elem. skating party with her son and broke both wrists.)
Jered Benedick sent this message this afternoon:  "The lunch and Bible study for tomorrow will be moved to my house. I will take a van from the church for any kids that want to meet at the church. If you live close to me in Reno you can drop your kids there around noon. I will bring teens back to the building around 2pm or when we get done. If you have questions or need directions to my home just let me know."

Also, if you have a teen headed to Uplift I need the medical release and remainder of the balance by this Sunday. Let me know you have any questions regarding Uplift.
