Weekly Update - 5/11

Thank you Patrick for the message this morning about "Being a Godly Mom in an Ungodly World" with the text being taken from Exodus 1:15-2:10
And, thank you Kyle, the song service was WONDERFUL!  What a wonderful idea to get favorite songs from the Mothers.  The singing was beautiful!

Our Sympathy:  Elton Weeks' Mom, Alta Weeks, funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1pm at the New Boston Church of Christ.
 
PRAYERS:
  • Joe Daniels will have a scope procedure on Monday morning (10:30) at PRMC.
  • Kristi Anthony will be back in Zale Lipshy Rehab starting tomorrow.  Please keep not only her, but her family as this big adjustment begins.
  • Nancy Jones was back with us this morning.  It's great to see her feeling better.
  • Paula Vaughan (works in Derald Bulls' office) will be having a surgical procedure next week.
  • Debbie Bracken (Robin Fain's sister-in-law) has metastatic breast cancer.
  • Jill Faires asked that we keep the students and teachers of Kiddie Kollege, that they finish strong and for their last 2 weeks to go well and be a blessing.
  • Sherry Welch's aunt, Caron, fell and broke her hip.  Had surgery on Saturday.  Prayers for her recovery.
  • The Bishop's daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl & Sean Healy, are experiencing stressful times.  Sean is unemployed and needs to find a job.
  • Kelci Welch will be traveling to Honduras for a mission trip.  Tanya asks that we pray for safe travels and a great experience.
  • Anna Zant's parents, the Mashburn's, are experiencing bad health.
  • Louie Woodall asked that we keep the African girls who have been kidnapped.
GIRLS BIBLE STUDY:  If you are an upcoming 6th-7th-8th grader, there will be a study this Wednesday night from 6pm-6:30pm.

BLOOD DRIVE:  This Wednesday night!

SIMPLE SUPPER:  This weeks' entrĂ©e is Soft Tacos.  Please donate at least $2 per person.
