Weekly Update - 10/7

Jay Spencer reminded us... Don't forget to continue to pray for Randy and Loree. They're trying to navigate through LACOC and learn all of us too.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  • Brad Francis - Complications from diverticulitis.
  • Donna McGee - Cancer
  • Nancy Partin did not have bypass surgery, she had a minor stroke.
  • Lloyd Usry had a heart cath this week. No stents. Everything else clear. Back to square one sort of. Will know more later today on how he is feeling. He was able to go home after a few hours of laying still.
  • Vickie Humphrey - Cancer
  • Webber Woodall - The ECHO was "beautiful". The stress tests showed some abnormalities.  The ENT said the polyp showed to be inflammation and we shouldn't worry about it now.  Dr.Gibbs will study the tests and determine if he can go through the knee replacement.
  • Dorothy Pearce - Health.
  • Carol Murphy - Health 
  • Peggy Dotson - Health
  • Ed Bullard - Health
  • Bill Jones - Health

  • Billy Icenhower, Ken and Shelia's son, is in critical condition with a malignant tumor in his bile duct.
  • Laurie Vanderpool, the Stallings daughter, is recuperating at her sister's home in Dallas, after having hip replacement surgery this week.
  • Former member, Paul McClain, took a turn for the worse and has been back in Baylor/Dallas again this week.  He is HIGH on the transplant list for a liver.
  • Dr. Steve Marx is in a back at home.
  • Helen Short (friend of Anita Roden) is experiencing health issues.
  • Paul Denney - Local architect - Health
  • Please keep our troops and first responders in your prayers for safety. 
  • Also keep our teachers and students in your prayers.
SHUT-INS:   Dorothy Pearce, Peggy Dotson, Bill Jones, Leston and Lareece Maggard, Lucy Staley, Peggy Wright, Sarah Smith, Roy Jones, Kristi Anthony and Dianna Welch.

FOSTER PARENT NIGHT OUT:  Join us as we bless foster and adoptive parents in our area by providing an evening of free babysitting.  Volunteers needed to help with childcare on Oct 13th from 4-7pm.  You can sign up at the Welcome Center.  Your own children are welcome to come with you.  Dinner will be provided.

KIDDIE KOLLEGE would love YOUR HELP at their Fall Festival on Tuesday, Oct 30th from 11:15am to 1:30pm.  If you can help with a booth/game and enjoy having fun with the little ones, please see Jill Faires.  You will put a smile on a child's face and have a fun yourself!  Your participation would be appreciated.
