Prayer Request Update - 4/18 - 9pm

"I Am The Light Of The World" was the title of Patrick's message today.  The 2nd in the "I Am" series of lessons.  "Jesus (the Light) came so we do not have to live in the dark!  Light brings... Knowledge... Hope for the hopeless... Direction to the delivered."
Richard's song service was so good!  This was the first Sunday for the new system...still has a few bugs in it...but it'll get worked out and be perfect!
  • Curtis Garrett was back at church this morning after being in Alaska for the last 3 weeks with Landon during his recuperation.  Landon will be moved to the Air Force base hospital this Tuesday for 30 more days of rehab.  Specifically pray for fine motor skills to return to his right hand and right foot.
  • Don Carroll is still recovering from his accident 2 weeks ago.  He is still really sore.
  • JoAnn Parkman will have back surgery this Tuesday (4/20) at Presbyterian/Dallas.
  • Cari Johnson was in PRMC this past week.  She is continuing to suffer from seizures.  Cari had West Nile a few years ago and these seizures are a direct result of that.  Also, Cari's husband Lance is still having problems with his ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).  Please keep Lance, Cari and their girls in your prayers.
  • Brad Smith had a heart cath on Friday at PRMC/North on Friday.  He's doing better.
  • Ora Henderson's daughter is also in PRMC/North.  She is recovering from open heart surgery.  Ora's son, Gerald, was also in the hospital this week, but he was at church this morning and stated that he's feeling good.
  • The Christ's asked for prayers for their friends, Curt & Sandy Shumard.  Their son has Hodgkin's Disease.
Congratulations to our own Bonner Gillie...he had the Grand Champion steer at the Junior Livestock show on Friday night.  His picture was on the front page of The Paris News today.

Senior Sunday will be May 16. This years' 2010 Seniors are:  Stephanie Janes - Jason McGee - Kasandra Miller - Adam Skidmore - Zachary Wickes - Zach Zant

There will be a Medical Mission trip to Peru in July. Mackenna and Spencer Jones want to go and are trying to raise money by doing odd jobs for their portion of the trip.
