Weekly Update - 5/10

Thank you Patrick for the message this morning, "From One Generation to Another", with the scripture taken from Psalm 78:1-8.
The points he made were:
1.  Teach our children about God's greatness.
2.  Take advantage of the PRESENT.
3.  Teach our children to trust and obey God.
Coming generations will forget the works of God, if they are not repeatedly reminded of them.
LACOC has several families with at least 4 generations attending.  God bless you ALL!

Thank you Kyle for the VERY special song service!  All songs were selected by Mom's in the congregation.

Doug Faires announced today that he is stepping down as an Elder.  Doug we love you and know that you will continue to serve the Lord in many ways.

Selena Johnson has been hired as the summer intern for LACOC.  She begins work in a couple of weeks.
