Weekly Update - 6/11


Thank you to the Camp Deer Run staff for being with us this morning. The singing was beautiful!!!

OUR SYMPATHY:
  • Audie and Vicki Neisler in the loss of Audie's brother-in-law John Nance, this past Wednesday.
  • Kyle Dickson in the loss of his brother Tony, this past Wednesday.
CONGRATULATIONS:  Matt and Allison Hanley along with VERY proud grandparents, Alan and Sherrie Boyd and James and Kim Hanley are so excited to announce the birth of their new grandson Jackson Ryan Hanley was born on Thursday, weighing in at 8 pounds and 10 ounces and he's 20 inches long.  Pete Taylor is the great-grandfather.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who came out to Lake Crook for Church at the Lake, this past Wednesday night.  We had a great turnout....134!  We sang together, kids played, people visited with "one another" and memories were made!  Thank you Jared for the devotional thought!  A HUGE thank you to the Wednesday night men's class that prepared dinner for all of us!

YOUNG AT HEART DINNER AND A MOVIE:  There is a relaxed evening of fun planned for all you special YOUNG @ HEART.  You are invited to dinner and a movie at 6pm on Monday night.  Cost will be $3/per person.  Please sign up at the Welcome Center if you plan to join us.


COMMUNITY OUTREACH:  We are going to host another Foster Parents' Night Out at our building on Saturday, June 17th from 4:40-8:00PM, and we need a few babysitters.  This is a great way to show our local foster families how much we appreciate and support what they are doing by giving them a much needed break.  We did this a few months ago and it was a huge blessing for these families.  If you can help, please sign up at the Welcome Center(You have to have already had the required background check.)

LATCH KEY:  Will have an opening for a care giver position beginning Aug. 1st.  Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.  If interested see James Hanley or call him at 903-517-8794.

RAINBOW ROOM ITEMS: Girls pants sizes 3T-6x and juice boxes

PANTRY NEEDS:  Canned soup with meat and Diapers sized 1,2,3
