Weekly Update - 7/14

Randy continued his sermon series, Summer in the Psalms, with his lesson today from Psalm 46...

"A Mighty Fortress Is Our God"

I.    God's protection (46:1-3)
II.   God's presence (46:4-7)
III. God's power (46:8-11)

Points To Ponder:

1.  Seek to know God better.
2.  This psalm points to the priority of God's grace.
3.  Let go!! (Vs 10 - Be still)
4.  God remains with us through Jesus and his Spirit.

Thank you to the Camp Deer Run Staff who led our worship service.  Ross Denman led the singing and Tate Bivens led the communion prayer.  The singing was so beautiful!  We appreciate these young men and women and their giving hearts!

OUR SYMPATHY:
⬬  Pam Cattabiani-Conrad in the loss of her husband, Dr. Jim Conrad, who passed away last week.  There will be no service.  Please keep Pam in your prayers.
⬬  Laurie Beckmon's aunt, Sandy Steele, of Stephenville, passed away this week.

BAPTIZED:  Gavin Baggett, son of Jared and Kristi, was baptized by his Dad this morning.  He wanted to be baptized with his family, church family and CDR family present!  He had all of that covered this morning!!!
