Weekly Update - 8/4

Randy is on vacation, Jay Spencer brought our lesson today.  He and the elders wanted to give us six things they want us to do as we continue to commit our lives to Christ.
  1. Spend time with God. Praying, reading scripture and meditating on his word.
  2. Speak of God to others.
  3. Be DOERS of the word of God.
  4. Reflect Jesus.
  5. Live and work in harmony with the body of Christ here at LACOC.
  6. Commit to attending worship, bible class, Wednesday night classes, and Life Groups.
OUR SYMPATHY is extended to the Newman family, as they mourn the passing of Jimmy, on Friday afternoon. Please keep Mary Ann, Stephen, Brenda, and their families in your prayers. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 prior to service time.
