Prayer Requests - 7/26 - 12:41pm

  • Please remember our Medical Mission Group that is working Peru through this Thursday. 17 from LACOC are there with John Mark & Tara Davidson and their mission team.  Russell & Robyn Figgins have posted many facebook messages about all the good things that are going on!
  • Also keep the Youth Group on the Wildnerness Trek on your prayers for safety.  They will return on Friday night.
  • Dennis Malone was taken to a Tyler hospital last night.  He's having massive pain.
  • Sue Munday sent this message today:  "Please add Butch's Dad, E.V. Munday, to the prayer list. He has a broken hip and surgery is scheduled sometime today (Monday). He is 101 years old. Pray also for Butch, as he has traveled to Scott and White in Temple to be with his Dad."
  • Derald Bulls sent this message, that he received from her daughter today:  "Janie Russell is still in Kindred Hospital but the drs want to move her to an acute rehab facility. She still has the drain to drain the abscess and will for 3 to 4 more weeks. She will continue to have 2 antibotics for several more weeks. Mom is still very weak and is not eating enough to regain strength. She has lost 20 lbs since admitted a month ago.  She is still needing help walking. We still covet your prayers for healing if this is God's will."
  • Continue to remember Karl Louis as he is dealing with prostrate cancer and treatments.
  • Dinah Border's daughter, Shamane, had surgery this morning.  She had a bone replaced.
  • Gina Barnett's friend, Richard Dennis, was having lower back pain, found out he has liver, lung & lymphnode cancer.
  • Vickie Vinson's friend, Chris Stowler, passed away in her sleep last week.  She was only 44 years old.
  • Tammy Huffman has asked for prayers for her Mom, Linda Warren, for the continued healing of her foot; her step-dad, Sam Warren, for a good report.  He's just finished with chemo & radiation; for her husband, Robert Huffman, he has a possible job opportunity coming up this week; and for her friend, Rex Adams, who is in pain.
  • Sarah Smith wasn't feeling well yesterday and wasn't able to attend worship.
  • Nelda Nelson (friend of Charlotte Grooms) has myloma cancer.
  • Sherry Welch's Mom, Hazel Cross, is having cataract surgery tomorrow (Tues 7/27).
  • Continue to remember the Janes family as they are dealing with some personal issues.

SCHOOL BACKPACKS: It's time to start thinking about backpacks for the kiddos at Justiss Elementary. Charlotte Grooms stated that: "I will be glad to take cash if people had rather do that. It makes the kids feel special to get a new backpack. I watch the adds and lot of times you can get 2 for the price of one."

SIMPLE SUPPER: This weeks entree will be Chicken & Spaghetti. If you didn't get the chance to sign up on Sunday morning, you still have the chance to come and eat with us by calling the church office by noon on Tuesday. Still only $2.
