Weekly Update - 1/23 - 7:50pm

"A shepherd is one who already has a flock."  Thank you Patrick for the continued lessons on choosing our new elders.  After a 24 hour fast, do you have your choices made?  If you didn't receive your form, this morning, there are still plenty available at the Welcome Center.  These need to be filled out, signed and turned in NEXT Sunday!  The new elders will be in place by March 6th.

Jered, Tammy, Tyler and Jenna Kate...we will miss you all!  You're leaving an empty spot in our hearts!  We do wish you the very best as you start this new opportunity.  We love you!
  • Bill Jones is in ETMC/Clarksville hospital.  They've done tests on him for the flu.  Please keep Mr. Bill on your hearts.
  • Sara Goree is still in PRMC/South.
  • Ruth Ann Stallings will have knee surgery on Wednesday (1/26).
  • Ed Bullard left church early today.  He was not feeling well.
  • Our prayers are with Brad and Jeanie Cecil as they are grieving the miscarriage of their baby.
  • Kimberly and Payden Daniels have been home bound lately.  Kimberly with a spider bite and Payden with strep throat.
  • Jay Anthony is having back problems.
  • Wayne and Ruth McFadden are at home sick.  He has the flu and she has a cold.
  • Cheyanne McClour-Phillips has the flu.
  • Anna Zant's parents, Joe and Christine Mashburn, are needing our prayers.
  • Jean McGee (John's Mom) had surgery this week, on her thyroid.  They found cancer, but, they do think they got it all.
  • Helen Caminade, Michelle Gillie's Mom, will have an angiogram tomorrow, Jan. 24.
  • Lesa Bulls' cousin, Betty Brockington, has a severe brain infection and is in ICU in a hospital in Houston.
  • Chase Wood's friend, Brianna, is dealing with some personal problems and needs our prayers.
  • Peggy Robinson had a scope procedure performed on Thursday of this past week...with no results.  Will be having more tests soon.
  • I (Molly) will be seeing a retina specialist on the 3rd to see if they can figure out what's behind where the cataract was.  I can't wait for Phase 2 to begin!  What a wonderful miracle this is!
  • Our sympathy goes to the Shields' Family as they mourn the loss of Mike.  He was the preacher at the First Assembly of God Church (across the street).  Visitation will be Tuesday night at 6pm at their church and the funeral will be at 10am on Wednesday morning also at the church.

DON'T FORGET!!!  This Saturday - 1-4pm Randy Harris will be here to speak on "The Spiritual Life You've Always Wanted".  Randy will speak again, to our combined classes, on Sunday morning and again during worship.  After our catered lunch, there will be a wrap-up session.

The Grief Recovery class has continued on Wednesday nights.  There are so many that are grieving and this is such a wonderful ministry.  Please keep Patrick and Mike Bishop in your prayers as they continue to work with this group.
