Weekly Update - 7/15 - 8:57pm

Neil Nutt was baptized this morning, by his Papa (Mike Marsters).  Neil is the son of Kristi Nutt.
  • It was great to see Hugh Anthony at church today! Lots of prayers answered. 
  • Lillian Taylor has had a rough time with health issues this week.
  • Jill Faires asked that we pray for a former Kiddie Kollege student.  Five year old Jesse Troy Jr. has had a tumor removed.  Please pray for his health to be restored.
  • Lisa Denman's niece, Emily Wall, is in need of prayers, for her to make better choices for her life.
  • Also, Lisa's cousin, Julie Matthews' ovarian cancer has returned.  Pray for her spirits and her healing.
  • Mark Shetler has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.  The Shetler's are one of the homeschool families.
  • Lillian Welch (Mark Welch and Diane McFadden's Mom) had a doctor's visit in Tyler this week.
  • The Miears family friend, Patty Berry's Mom passed away today.  Prayers for their travels from Colorado to Houston.
Continue to pray for Bailey Cannon as she is on a medical mission trip in Zambia.

Ladies Day in Greenville: Plans are in the making to attend the second annual Autumn Celebration of the Timeless Woman at Johnson Street Church of Christ on Saturday, September 15th. Registration is at 9:30 and lunch will be served the program. Author and speaker, Cassandra Miller will present "God Pass Me By". (Joanne Wood will be teaching a ladies class this fall based on Cassandra's book.) There is a sign up sheet posted on the ladies bulletin board.
Simple Supper: This weeks' entree is Hamburgers. Please donate at least $2 per person. If you did not get the chance to sign up Sunday morning and would like to join us for supper, please call the church office.
 
Pantry Needs:  EVERYTHING!
 
It's that time of year again!  Charlotte Grooms is accepting donations of back-packs or monetary donations for the purchase of the bags.  Charlotte works at Justiss Elementary.
 
H.A.L.O.....this Tuesday night (7/17) at 6pm.  Bring your favorite finger food and any craft project you are working on.  The community project for this month is school supplies.
