Weekly Update - 4/10



WELCOME:  John West, from Cooper, has recently asked to be identified with our church family!

SYMPATHY:  Linda Vickers mom passed away.  No other details are known at this time.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
  • Anita Roden - Recovering from shoulder surgery last week.
  • Loretta Nabors - Is at home recovering from back surgery last week.
  • Peggy Wright - Is back at Colonial Lodge now.
  • Dee Lyons - asked for prayers for mental and emotional health.
  • Mike Grigsby - Had a seizure some time during Sunday night. He has been taken to Medical City/Plano.
  • Joel Casey is in PRMC/Room 324.  (He will be going to Heritage House when he's dismissed from the hospital.)
  • Vicki Humphey - Health - Was back at church on Sunday!!!
  • Webber Woodall - Health
  • William and Lucy Offutt - Health - Was back at church on Sunday!!
  • Sherrie Boyd - Health
  • Kristie Anthony - Physical and mental health
  • Lance Johnson - ALS
  • Troops - Keep them safe
  • Elderly - Prayers for their safety and health.
  • Emergency Personnel - Keep them safe
  • Missionaries all over the world.
  • Katie Helm (former member) had surgery to straighten her spine this week.
  • Phillip Cato (former member) has been in the hospital this past week.  He has been through a massive amounts of tests. He does NOT have cancer.
  • Allyson Fasken is a teacher at PISD and has been diagnosed with inoperable, stage 4, pancreatic cancer.  She and her husband Murray have 2 boys.
  • Larry Rhea, Sr has stage four lung cancer. He is the son-in-law of Mary Tallant. Larry is the owner of Starnet.
  • Janet Fouse - Had breast cancer surgery last week. They did get ALL the cancer. (Former member)
  • Sharon Nelson - Bone marrow cancer (Sabrina Thompson's Mom)
  • Sierra Faulkner - 3 year old with inoperable brain tumor. She's finished with the radiation treatments and is continuing chemo treatments. (Friend of Molly's)
  • Tammy Huffman-Beazley (former member) Cancer
  • Ross Floyd, step-son of Kathy Roden Floyd and son of Randy. At UTSWMC in ICU in serious condition.
  • Debbie Daniel (friend of Molly's) - Cancer
  • Kendall Hatanville from Roxton.  He has a hereditary kidney condition and is now in Zale/Lipshy Rehab.
SHUT-INS AND NURSING HOMES: 
Butch Mills, Johnny Bassett, Carol Murphy, Johnny Houser, Roy Jones, Paul and Carol Helton, Carl Melton, Joel Casey, Sarah Smith, Sarah Dene Goree, Donna Mosley, Carol Murphy.

NEW BUDGET:  There are copies of the new budget at the Welcome Center.

LTC HELP NEEDED:  If you are able to donate a food item for the group going to LTC this year, please SIGN UP at the Welcome Center.  This helps offset the cost for families going.  You can put any items in the library or in the refrigerator, if needed.  Please mark for LTC use. Deadline to bring items is April 12th.

LTC DRESS REHEARSAL:  Our kids, who have been working hard in their specific areas, will be show casing their talents for us on Wednesday, April 12th.  All classes will meet in the auditorium at 6:30 to SUPPORT OUR KIDS!

5th SUNDAY:  Sunday, April 30th, will be our next 5th Sunday.  BurgerLand will cater our lunch.  There is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center for desserts. 
This will also be the time that we celebrate the Patrick and his family before they leave for Texarkana.


RAINBOW ROOM ITEMS: Girls pants size 3T-6X and Juice Boxes
PANTRY NEEDS: Pasta Sauce, Soup with meat, and Deodrant

SIMPLE SUPPER:  Chicken-n-Dumplin' Casserole

July 16-21:  Youth Group Mission to Boles Home.
