Weekly Update - 8/13


PRAYER REQUESTS:
  • Lance Johnson - was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia in both lungs.  They're also addressing issues with his feeding tube. 
  • Peggy Wright was dismissed from rehab on Friday. She fell twice on Saturday and taken to ER. No new breaks!! 
  • Charles Richards - Had 2 surgeries on Thursday and is able to move a bit more now.
  • Phyllis Waugh - Has been dismissed from the hospital after having blood clots in her lungs this week.
  • Sharon Kinison - Is continuing to have problems with her legs. Is going to see a pain management specialist.
  • Lucy Staley - Health
  • Webber Woodall - Had very good appointments with neurologist and electro-cardiologist this week.
  • Gail Clark has some serious health issues.
  • Jean King - Back issues
  • Loretta Nabors - Back issues
  • Mike Grigsby - Health
  • William and Lucy Offutt - Health
  • John Figgins - Health
  • Sherrie Boyd - Health
  • Anita Roden - Health 
  • Kristi Anthony - Physical and mental health 
  • Troops - Keep them safe
  • Elderly - Prayers for their safety and health.
  • Emergency Personnel - Keep them safe
  • Missionaries all over the world.
  • Local businessman Steve Glover, has a brain tumor. Taking chemo treatments now at Medical City. 
  • Jazzmayne Radtke, Dinah Border's granddaughter - High risk pregnancy. Prayers for a safe delivery and healthy baby.
  • Tripp Thoms (friend of the Cooper's) has been released from the hospital, after being bit by a  brown recluse spider on his face last week.  He is home and healing well.
  • Brenda Simmons (friend of Leslie Keele) - Health
  • Wanda Huggins has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
  • Shonda Stephens (Kathy Grigsby's daughter) had surgery this past week and is doing well.
  • Joe DeNoon - Health (Tanya Welch's step-dad).
  • Sandy Welch (Kristi Anthony's Mom) - Health
  • Dr. Robert Zimmerman (friend of Derald Bulls) - Cancer.
  • Matt Welch, youngest brother of Kristi Anthony, has been told that he needs a liver transplant.
  • Allyson Fasken (teacher at PISD) Cancer.
  • Janet Fouse - (former member) Cancer.
  • Joyce Fouse - Cancer 
  • Jim Bo Thompson - (friend of Glen Barnett) recovering from surgery.
  • Sierra Faulkner - 3 year old with cancer. (Friend of Molly's)
  • Jerry Savage cancer has returned and is aggressive. He is a preacher in Sulphur Springs.
  • Tammy Huffman Beazley - (former member) Cancer
  • Debbie Daniel (friend of Molly's) - Cancer
SHUT-INS AND NURSING HOMES:  
Butch Mills, Johnny Bassett, Harley Staley, Carol Murphy, Johnny Houser, Roy Jones, Paul and Carol Helton, Sarah Smith, Sarah Dene Goree, Donna Mosley, Peggy Wright.


WEDNESDAY NIGHT WORSHIP:  This Wednesday night (8/16) at 6:30pm, we will have Jered Benedick here to speak in the auditorium.

PRAYERS FOR STUDENTS:  If you would like to be assigned a student's name to pray for, or your student has graduated and you want a new one, then please see Tanya Welch for an information card or to update your data on file.  (This is for North Lamar, Paris and Chisum High Schools.)

WEDNESDAY SIMPLE SUPPER:  These will be resuming in September.  If you would like to help on a team on Wednesday out of each month, please see Kyle Jones.  Our teams are awesome and are fun to be a part of. If you have time and the heart to serve with a smile, prepare part of a meal, or wash dishes then YOU CAN DO THIS!!! 

RAINBOW ROOM ITEMS: Lice kits and boys clothing

PANTRY NEEDS:  Crackers, cereal, pasta sauce and canned soup.

SIMPLE SUPPER:  
The S. S. crew is taking a summer break.
