Weekly Update - 5/12

What a wonderful day at LACOC!  It was so good to see some many visitors and families together!

* Kathy Cooper (Rusty's Mom) responded this morning, asking to be a part of the LACOC family and forgiveness for things that she has done and asked for our prayers.
* Butch Mills was taken to PRMC/ER this morning.
* Charlotte Cannon continues to be in PRMC for rehab.
* Kristi Anthony was back with us, for the first time in 6 months.  She continues daily rehab with Pate.
* Ed Bullard was back us today after being released from rehab this past week.
* Rickey McFadden - is scheduled for back surgery on Tuesday at Presbyterian/Dallas.
* Tom Wood - Cancer
* Lance Johnson as he fights ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
* John and Marie Figgins - Health
* Anna Zant - Health
* Jeanie Lamb - Cancer
* Mike Marsters - Health
* Lillian Welch (Mark Welch and Dianne McFadden's Mom) - Health
* Becky Lamberson (our co-worker at First Federal) will have cancer surgery on Wednesday.
* David Nelson (Charlotte Grooms' brother) will start chemo again in 2 weeks, his lung cancer has gotten larger.
* Richard McFadden (Jerry and Diane McFadden's nephew) was in a serious car accident.
* Curtis Garrett's friend, Rusty Ross, has a brain tumor.
* Paul Garrett's friend, Terri Yeakley, also has a brain tumor.
* Jean O'Neal's friend, Donna Faris, has an upcoming surgery.
* Jean O'Neal's granddaughter, Elsa O'Neal, who has a tumor.
* Ruth Ann Stallings asked that we remember David and Laurie Vanderpool as they are moving to Haiti.
 
Our sympathy is extended to:
  ~The family and friends of Mary Harrell as they mourn her death. She worked at Justiss Elementary.
  ~ Bill King and his family as they mourn the loss of his cousin Francis Lee.
 
McKenna Jones is in Tanzinia (a country in East Africa) for another week. She is part of a mission team with Oklahoma Christian.
Bailey Cannon will be traveling to Zambia (a country in Southern Africa) on July 4th for an 18 day medical mission trip. (More details to come later.)

Simple Supper:
Still only $2 per person. This weeks' entree is Arby's sandwiches. If weren't able to sign-up, this morning, and would like to join us, call the church office by noon on Tuesday.
