Weekly Update - 5/20

Responses: 
* Brittany Twitty-Johnson - loss of her uncle, Roosevelt Twitty and her cousin, Roland Williams.  ~~Mr. Twitty's funeral will be Wed. morning at 11am at LACOC.
* Jessica Duren - loss of her friend, Megan Weissenmayer.

Welcome:
* Stephan and Mandy Gerrald.  They've been visiting with us for a while and want to be a member of the LACOC family. 


* Chuck Brazile - is in Denton Memorial after having kidney failure on Friday.
* Butch Mills was back at church yesterday morning.
* Charlotte Cannon has been released from PRMC, but continues rehab daily.
* Charles Richards is recovering from having stent placement on Friday and it was great to see him at church yesterday.
* Kristi Anthony continues daily rehab with Pate.
* Ed Bullard - health
* Rickey McFadden - recovering from back surgery.
* Lucy Offutt sent these 2 requests....."Please pray for healing for my friend Kay Zachary Miller as she has been diagnosed with colon cancer and will undergo surgery early Monday morning.
Please continue to pray for William. He will undergo the first of two planned cardiac procedures on May 30th at Carrell Clinic in Dallas. This is the least dangerous of the two. We do not have a date yet for the cardiac catheterization and ablation of the areas in his heart that are causing his arrhythmias and the drastic blood pressure problems. This should be done at Presbyterian in the near future."

* Lance Johnson as he fights ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
* John and Marie Figgins - Health.  Marie has broken her toe.
* Anna Zant - Health
* Jeanie Lamb - Cancer
* Mike Marsters - Health
* Lillian Welch (Mark Welch and Dianne McFadden's Mom) - Health
* Dr. David Lane's Mom, Lutreccia Lane, has cancer and is in bad health.
* Becky Lamberson (our co-worker at First Federal) had breast cancer surgery last week and is home doing well.
* David Nelson (Charlotte Grooms' brother) - Cancer
* Curtis Garrett's friend, Rusty Ross, had brain tumor surgery on Thursday and is already home, doing well.
* Paul Garrett's friend, Terri Yeakley - brain tumor.
* Ruth Ann Stallings asked that we remember David and Laurie Vanderpool as they are moving to Haiti.
 
Bailey Cannon will be traveling to Zambia (a country in Southern Africa) on July 4th for an 18 day medical mission trip. (More details to come later.)

Simple Supper:
Still only $2 per person. This weeks' entree is Chicken Spaghetti. If weren't able to sign-up, this morning, and would like to join us, call the church office by noon on Tuesday.
