Weekly Update - 5/6

WHAT A BLESSING!!!!  LACOC's special contribution for West, Texas was OVER $10,000!  What a blessing this will be for that little community! 

* Kristi Anthony - continuing her rehab with Pate, Monday through Friday. Please pray for the family as she gets used to being at home.
* Ed Bullard is in rehab
* Don Thompson - PRMC - taking dialysis
* Rickey McFadden - is scheduled for back surgery on May 14 at Presbyterian/Dallas.
* Tom Wood - finished with treatments - will have more tests run in 2 weeks.
* Lance Johnson as he fights ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
* John and Marie Figgins - Health
* Anna Zant - Health
* Jeanie Lamb - Cancer
* Lareece Maggard - she was at worship this morning and is feeling better.
* Lillian Welch (Mark Welch and Dianne McFadden's Mom) - Health
* Becky Lamberson (our co-worker at First Federal) Will have cancer surgery next week.
* Mike Nelson had open heart surgery and he is doing well. David Nelson is still battling cancer. (Charlotte Grooms' brothers.)
* Becky Edwards-Skinner (friend of Anita Roden) is taking treatments for cancer.
* Lance Noble (PJC soccer coach) - his father was murdered on Saturday in Mesquite.
* Jordan and Nathan Wilhelm - Tanya Welch asked for prayers for a long and happy marriage with lots of adventure.
* Shane Welch - Tanya asked for prayers for him as he travels for his work.

Remember all of our soon-to-be Seniors...that they make good decisions and keep God in front focus.


Please continue to remember those who were injured or killed in the explosion in West, Texas. 

McKenna Jones is in Tanzinia (a country in East Africa) for another 2 weeks. She is part of a mission team with Oklahoma Christian. 
Bailey Cannon will be traveling to Zambia (a country in Southern Africa) on July 4th for an 18 day medical mission trip. (More details to come later.)

Simple Supper: Still only $2 per person. This weeks' entree is Poppy Seed Chicken. If weren't able to sign-up, this morning, and would like to join us, call the church office by noon on Tuesday.
