Weekly Update - 11/14 - 8:32pm

Thank you Patrick for the wonderful message today on "Why People Follow Jesus".   And thank you Kyle for the beautiful songs!  I love to hear the old ones, as well as the newer ones!.
Don't forget this Wednesday night is our 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Dinner!  Invite your co-workers, neighbors, friends, and family to this wonderful dinner.  Guests' meals are free, LACOC members pay the regular $2.  Dinah still needs help with clean-up.  Please make sure that if you didn't sign up this morning, that you call the church office by noon on Tuesday.  Please bring desserts by 2:00pm.

  • Tammy Benedick is still in PRMC/South.  She continues to have a hard time.  Please keep, not only Tammy in your prayers, but Jered and the little ones also.
  • Ed Bullard is also still in PRMC/South, and is losing blood.
  • Grace Francis is still in PRMC/S with pneumonia.
  • Please keep Angela Heath (Tammy Huffman's friend) in your prayers for continued healing and that her chemo treatments go well.
  • Debra Usry's friend, Dana Nichols, who has been battling cancer for almost 2 years now,  When he was diagnosed he had it in his bladder, lungs and prostrate. He's undergone countless doses of chemo and despite all that it has spread to a leg. He has been having a really bad week, he's developed a fever and the leg has started swelling. They live in Winnsboro, and right now he doesn't have the desire to go back to the specialists in Dallas for more chemo. It is their belief that this fever and swelling is God working on the leg and they are asking for all the prayers they can get for his relief and possibly miracle of recovery.
  •  Tammy Huffman also asked that we keep the Ashford family on our hearts.  Dennis was killed on Friday morning in a motorcycle accident.
  •  Wayne Tolbert has been moved to PRMC/North for rehab.
  •  Curt Poore asked for prayers for his friend, Hal Hampton, as he is recovering from a heart attack and other health issues.
  •  Dianna Welch is still having problems with her foot healing.  Please pray for healing of the infection and that the medication will work.
  •  Keely Kennedy asked for prayers for her little nephew, Logan Trapp.  He has bronchitis and she asks for healing.
